We provide you with recipes that are very easy and quick to execute, and the price for the ingredients will not be too high. They will look very advantageous on the table and help create the atmosphere of a real New Year.

"Updated Olivier"

Olivier is associated with the onset of winter and New Year's holidays everyone without exception. We have known him since childhood and many are quite tired of him. Now everyone is trying to replace it with something new and interesting salad. But still, you can’t do without Olivier, and we suggest you serve it in a completely extraordinary way - like a Santa Claus hat. It will be immediately noticeable on the table and will cause a flurry of emotions among all guests.

What you will need:

  • Eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • Potato tubers – 2 pcs.;
  • Carrots – 3 pcs;
  • canned cucumbers – 6 pcs. (it’s better to take gherkins);
  • Boiled sausage/ham (to taste) – 200 grams;
  • mayonnaise;
  • Bulb;
  • Salt and pepper as desired.

How to cook:

  1. Cook vegetables and eggs, as usual for Olivier.
  2. Cut potatoes and cucumbers into cubes.
  3. After removing the whites, cut the yolks into cubes;

  8. The products that we cut into cubes are placed in a container and mixed thoroughly, seasoned with mayonnaise. Salt and pepper.
  9. Let's start serving the “Santa Claus Hat”. Place Olivier on a dish in the shape of a triangular hat.
  10. Place grated carrots on the hat to match the color of the hat. We use grated egg white as the white pompom and edge of the hat.
  11. If desired, the top of the hat can be painted with mayonnaise patterns. Although without them, our original updated New Year's Olivier can be served.

"Ladybug"

This salad may not have been familiar to you before, but all guests will also like its taste and presentation.

You will need:

  • Sour cream – 100 grams;
  • Mayonnaise - half a jar;
  • Cheese – 100 grams;
  • Pitted prunes – 25 pcs.;
  • Nuts – 6 pcs.;
  • Apples – 4 pcs.;
  • Boiled potatoes – 4 pcs.;
  • Eggs – 4 pcs. (boiled);
  • Boiled beets – 1 pc. (large sizes);
  • Red onion – 1 pc.;
  • Garlic – 1 g.;
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Soak the prunes, peel the apples and grate them;
  2. Chop the onion, add apples, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle lemon juice on top, mix the ingredients and leave to marinate.
  3. Grate the potatoes and place them on a plate as the first layer. Lubricate the top with mixed mayonnaise and sour cream.
  4. Finely chopped boiled eggs– this is our second layer.
  5. Place a mixture of apples and onions on top - 3rd layer;
  6. Ground nuts – 4th layer;
  7. Three cheeses on a coarse grater and spread as a 5th layer, spread a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise on top.
  8. Drain the water from the soaked prunes, set 6 of them aside - this is a salad decoration. Finely chop the remaining 19 pieces and place them on the salad like the head and strip between the wings of a ladybug.
  9. Grind the boiled beets (it will be faster with a coarse grater) and add the garlic, passed through a spade grater, add a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream. We spread it over the surface, thus making the wings of our cow. The 6 prune berries set aside earlier will serve as spots on her wings.

  • 3 boiled eggs;
  • 120 grams of ham;

Cooking instructions:

  1. Grate eggs and cheese on a fine grater;

Recipe:

  • Sugar – 150 grams;
  • Butter – 150 grams;
  • Dark chocolate – 75 grams;
  • Nutella – 75 grams (you can use other chocolate spread);
  • Peeled seeds – 10 pcs.;
  • Cherries in sugar – 10 pcs.;
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Candied lemon peels – 3 pcs.;
  • Milk – 2 tablespoons;
  • Cocoa powder - one and a half tablespoons.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Beat the eggs;

  • smoked bacon – 100 g;

To prepare the dish you will need:

  • goose carcass – about 3–4 kg;
  • sweet apples – 2 kg;
  • lemon – 1 piece;
  • caraway seeds – 1 tablespoon;

  • ground black pepper – 1 tablespoon;
  • spices - to taste.

Please note that a baking sleeve is required to prepare this dish.

It is best to take fresh poultry or defrost it in water, otherwise the meat will be tough. Cut carefully excess fat, it will be useful to you later.
