When these potatoes are cooked, everyone in the house becomes noticeably nervous - the smell is incredible. I warn you right away that this dish is not for everyone. The potatoes are not crispy, but as if glazed. The taste is a little sweet and spicy.

Ingredients(for 3 servings):

Potatoes – 10 pcs.,

Vegetable oil,

Salt – 1 tbsp. spoon.

The longer the potatoes are baked in this glaze, the less taste and smell the spices retain. Therefore, potatoes need to be prepared for baking: cook for 1-2 minutes or keep in boiling water.

Cut the peeled potatoes into slices. Place in boiling water, not forgetting to salt the water properly. Dry the prepared potatoes a little from the water and roll each slice in the sauce.

Sauce:

Garlic – 3 cloves,

Honey – 1 tbsp. spoon,

Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp. spoons,

Ginger, pepper, nutmeg salt - to taste.

Mix honey and vegetable oil in a bowl, add crushed garlic, spices and salt.

The smell of the mixture is just crazy! Place the potatoes in parts in a bowl, mix and transfer to a baking sheet lined with foil or oiled paper.

Place in a preheated oven and bake over moderate heat. The potatoes should be toasted and soft. Turn the slices over once and bake again, but not for long - the honey burns very quickly.

Serve hot only. I didn't like the reheated potatoes in this recipe. Bon appetit!

To prepare oven baked potatoes we will need:

  • ~ 1.5 kg of potatoes,
  • 2 tablespoons honey,
  • 60 grams of mustard (I took “Bavarian” mustard, spicy-sweet; if the mustard is bitter, then its amount should be reduced by at least 2 times),
  • 90 grams of vegetable oil,
  • 3 teaspoons ground sweet paprika,
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander,
  • 2 level teaspoons salt or to taste.
  • Recipe for oven-baked potatoes with honey and mustard.

    Let's prepare a dressing, marinade or sauce for potatoes. In a large bowl, mix paprika, vegetable oil, coriander, mustard, salt, honey. If desired, you can add more turmeric, about 2 teaspoons. Bring the sauce until smooth by stirring the ingredients.


    Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Place the potatoes in the honey mustard sauce and mix very well. Leave the potatoes in the marinade for 15-20 minutes.


    Place the potatoes on a greased baking sheet. It is better to take a large baking sheet and lay it out in one thin layer, then the potatoes will cook faster.

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place a baking sheet with potatoes in it and bake for 30-50 minutes, until cooked.

    If the potatoes are not in one layer, then after 30 minutes from the start of baking, remove the baking sheet from the oven, carefully mix the potatoes and set to bake for another 30-40 minutes.

    Oven-baked potatoes can be served as an independent dish, or can be used as a side dish for any meat or fish dishes.

    To prepare new potatoes with mushrooms according to our recipe, you will need:

    • new potatoes 800 g
    • fresh mushrooms 300 g
    • onions 200 g
    • vegetable oil 100 ml
    • 3 eggs
    • sour cream 100 ml
    • parsley
    • salt and pepper to taste

    How to cook new potatoes with mushrooms:

    Peel the new potatoes, cut into strips and simmer with vegetable oil and water. Separately, fry the onions and mushrooms, add salt, pepper and finely chopped parsley to taste.

    Place potatoes and mushrooms, alternating, in a greased saucepan, pour in eggs beaten with sour cream and place in a hot oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot as a separate dish or as a side dish.


    New potatoes with garlic and mint. Recipe

    To prepare new potatoes with garlic and mint according to our recipe, you will need:

    • young potatoes 1 kg
    • 1 head young garlic
    • fresh mint medium bunch
    • olive oil 2/3 cup
    • coarse sea salt.

    How to cook new potatoes with garlic and mint according to our recipe:

    Wash the young potatoes with a brush and, without peeling, prick them with a fork. Place on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for 1 hour.

    Separate the mint leaves from the stems. Chop the stems and place in a blender along with the peeled garlic cloves. Pour in the oil and beat until smooth. Chop the leaves.

    Cut the finished potatoes into quarters while hot, pour the resulting green oil, salt, pepper and mix. Let sit for 5 minutes, sprinkle with mint leaves and serve hot or warm.


    New potatoes with yoghurt and arugula. Recipe

    To prepare new potatoes with yogurt and arugula according to our recipe, you will need:

    • new potatoes 600 g
    • arugula - 50 g
    • grated lemon zest 1 tbsp. l.
    • crushed garlic 1 clove
    • grainy mustard 1 tbsp. l.
    • natural yogurt 0.5 cups
    • ground paprika 1 tsp.
    • salt to taste

    How to cook new potatoes with yogurt and arugula:

    First prepare the dressing. Peel and chop the garlic. Whisk yogurt with paprika and mustard. Add zest, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir.

    Wash the young potatoes with a stiff brush and, without peeling them, place them in a pan of boiling salted water. Cook until soft. Drain in a colander, let cool, then cut into large pieces. Wash and dry the arugula. Place the potatoes and arugula in a salad bowl or on a platter and top with spicy yoghurt.


    Recipe for young potatoes with herring oil

    To prepare young potatoes with herring oil according to our recipe, you will need:

    • young potatoes 1 kg
    • butter 200 g
    • small herring 1 pc.
    • milk 1.5 cups
    • mustard 2 tbsp. l.
    • dill 1 bunch

    How to cook new potatoes according to our recipe:

    Wash the young potatoes and boil them in their skins until tender, 20 minutes. The herring was divided into fillets. Soak in milk, 30 minutes. Pass the herring fillet through a meat grinder or grind in a blender.

    Soften the butter. Wash the dill, dry and chop. Mix the herring mass with oil, mustard and dill. Serve with hot potatoes.


    New potatoes fried with honey. Recipe

    To prepare young potatoes fried with honey according to our recipe, you will need:

    • 1 kg of small young potatoes;
    • 50 gr. butter;
    • 1 tsp. honey (without a slide);
    • 2 cloves of young garlic;
    • green onions;
    • dill and parsley;
    • salt - to taste;
    • ground black pepper - to taste.

    How to cook new potatoes:

    Rinse young potatoes thoroughly with water. Place in a saucepan, pour in cold water, simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes after boiling. At the end of cooking, salt the potatoes. Drain in a colander and let dry.

    Heat the butter in a frying pan, add honey to the butter and stir. Add potatoes to the pan. Fry until golden brown over medium heat, turning occasionally with a spatula.

    When the new potatoes are ready, remove from the heat and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions, garlic, dill and parsley. Pepper to taste, add salt if necessary.
