Ingredients:

  • 1 small chicken breast
  • 300 grams of ham
  • 1 small head of Chinese cabbage, or half or a third of a large one
  • 200 grams of Korean carrots
  • 30 grams of walnuts

For egg pancakes

  • 3 chicken eggs
  • salt pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. l. flour
  • 2 tbsp. l. water

To taste for dressing: mayonnaise, salt, pepper.

Please note that the specified amount of salad ingredients makes quite a lot, enough to feed a company of 8 people.

Be careful with salt, as it may already be contained in considerable quantities in ham and Korean carrots.

Variations on the theme of ingredients

Chinese salad, which is Chinese cabbage, is delicious and quite affordable. But for the sake of variety and finding the optimal composition for you, we recommend trying the following replacement options:

  • Savoy cabbage
  • Iceberg or Romaine lettuce

Preparation

First of all, bake the egg pancakes, for which we mix and lightly beat with a mixer or blender.

Fry thin pancakes in vegetable oil and cool. There are no problems with these pancakes - they turn out elastic, tender, do not stick to the pan and turn over easily. Depending on the diameter of the frying pan, we get 4-5 pancakes.

At the same time, cook until cooked and cool the chicken. But you can also use smoked breast if you like. Cut the ham and chicken breast into cubes.

Cut the selected cabbage into strips. If you chose Iceberg or Romano, you can tear it into pieces directly with your hands.

Drain excess liquid from Korean carrots. Cut the chilled pancakes into strips.

Mix all the ingredients, taste for salt, add (without fanaticism) mayonnaise. Or we replace the latter with yogurt or low-fat sour cream.

Sprinkle ground nuts on top of the finished dish.

An interesting idea for dressing - grind the nuts into dust, add water to the consistency of salad dressing and a little salt.

And no mayonnaise!

Serving

Serve the finished dish in a shallow dish, lining it with fresh lettuce leaves. For decoration, let your imagination run wild. You can use: cherry tomatoes, herbs, olives and everything that she (we mean fantasy) tells you. Or you can get by with the simplest option - a parsley leaf and half a walnut!

Smoked chicken recipe

I really liked the stunning smoked chicken recipe because it saves time on boiling the breast and cooling it. The taste of this version of Sunflower becomes more piquant. Also, in this version, I recommend using not pure mayonnaise, but sauce, so as not to overload your body.

We take the ingredients:

  • 200 grams smoked chicken breast
  • 3 pre-boiled eggs
  • 1 fresh cucumber
  • 10 pieces of small champignons
  • Medium sized carrots
  • Small onion
  • 3 tablespoons each of sour cream, mayonnaise and cream
  • Can of corn
  • 200 grams of any hard cheese
  • Jar of olives or olives
  • Chips

Cut the smoked breast into small pieces and make the first layer on the dish. Then chop the onion and fry it together with the champignon cubes in a frying pan. This will be the next layer. We'll salt it a little for taste.

Now it’s time to make the sauce, just mix sour cream and cream with mayonnaise, add a little salt and pepper if desired. Lubricate the layer of mushrooms with it.

Sunflower with chicken and mushrooms

For this amazing chicken and mushroom recipe, I sometimes replace fresh mushrooms with marinated ones. And if you still have homemade butter, they go into the dish.

  • 300 grams of boiled chicken breast
  • 400 grams of fresh champignons
  • 200 grams of any hard cheese
  • 5 pre-boiled eggs
  • Onion
  • 300 grams of mayonnaise
  • Odorless vegetable oil for frying
  • Olives as decoration
  • Salt a pinch

Wash the mushrooms, cut them into small pieces, cut the onion smaller, and fry everything in a frying pan. Next, make half of all the mushrooms in the bottom layer, coat them with sauce and place pieces of boiled chicken breast on top, brush again, lay out the remaining mushrooms, and again a little sauce.

Now we need to grate the whites from the boiled eggs, spread them in the next layer, and don’t forget to coat them with mayonnaise. Next comes finely grated cheese, also soaked in mayonnaise.

Lastly, we sprinkle crushed egg yolks, stick chips in a circle, and decorate the top with quartered olives.

The recipe with corn is very juicy and beautiful. I always put more of it, guests gasp at the sight of such a bright dish.

We will need to take:

  • 300 grams of fresh chicken meat
  • Canned sweet corn
  • 2 small carrots
  • Bunch of green onions
  • 3 pre-boiled eggs
  • 200 grams of pickled mushrooms, any
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sunflower oil
  • Salt pepper
  • For decoration chips and olives

Cut the chicken into small pieces and fry lightly in oil. This will be the lowest layer, coat it with sauce and place mushrooms on top, also coated. Next comes boiled carrots, grated or chopped with a knife, also coated.

  • 3 medium-sized potatoes

I offer a wonderful version of the recipe without mushrooms, light and tasty, all guests usually ask for this recipe.

We will need the following products:

  • 200 grams smoked chicken breast
  • Large onion
  • Can of corn
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons boiled cooled water
  • Mayonnaise
  • Chips

Cut the onion into quarters and sprinkle with a marinade of water and lemon juice. We leave it like this for half an hour, then put it in the main layer on a dish. Second on top is mayonnaise, then diced chicken, again sauce and corn. All that remains is to spread the chips around the edges and set them aside for the feast.

Sunflower with crab sticks

No one knows whose invention this is with crab sticks, but some people really like this version of the salad.

We take the ingredients:

  • 300 grams of crab sticks
  • Large onion
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • Mayonnaise

Finely chop the onion and carrots and sauté in odorless oil. Place half of it in the first layer, add salt, season with pepper, and coat with sauce.
