To prepare a delicious rice soup without meat, you need to peel the potatoes, onions and carrots, wash them and cut them. Wash the chopped potatoes and place them in boiling water in a saucepan. I also cut the onions into small cubes and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

After boiling water in a saucepan, put diced potatoes in it. I cook the potatoes for about 10 - 12 minutes, after which I add well-washed rice to it. Cook the potatoes and rice for another 10 minutes.

While the potatoes and rice are cooking, put a frying pan on the fire and pour 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil into it. After the oil in the frying pan has warmed up well enough, I put the previously chopped onions and carrots into it for frying.

Sautéing onions and carrots in a frying pan takes approximately 4 – 5 minutes. I stir the onions and carrots periodically to prevent them from burning.

I put the onions and carrots fried during this time from the frying pan into the pan and cook them along with the potatoes and rice for another 5 minutes. During this time, I rinse the green onions, parsley, dill under water and chop them finely.
