Bon appetit!

Some people can’t imagine New Year’s Eve without champagne, others prefer stronger drinks or a glass of good wine. But what if, for some reason or simply taste preference, you don’t drink alcohol? You will have to make sure that there are delicious non-alcoholic drinks on the festive table.

Few people will be surprised by store-bought juices and homemade compotes - for New Year's Eve you want to cook something special. And this is quite possible to do with the help of ordinary kitchen appliances: mixer, blender, shaker. You'll have to spend a little more effort, but it's worth it.

Most recipes use fresh fruits (can be replaced with frozen ones), vegetables, juices, compotes, honey, dairy products and spices. Instead of a shaker, a regular jar is quite suitable for mixing ingredients. You will also need a sieve for rubbing fruit and a mortar. Don't forget to prepare the ice in advance. It’s better to freeze not just water, but add berries or fruits, lemon juice.

The New Year's table always pleases with an abundance of tasty and varied dishes, but multi-colored aromatic drinks also have a place on the festive table. If you know the preferences of the guests in advance, then I suggest choosing the recipe you like and preparing invigorating and tasty drinks. There is a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that are in demand among both adults and children.

Drink decoration

1. When serving a festive cup, cocktail, mulled wine, and other drinks, glassware is decorated with thin circles or slices of lemon, lime and orange. To do this, a radical cut is made in the circle and placed on the edge of a glass or wine glass.

2. For originality and beauty, berries and fruits you like can be chopped onto small skewers and placed in glasses. Another option is to decorate drinks with citrus zest.

3. Orange slices pierced with a cocktail stick and planted with small berries look beautiful.

4. I advise you to decorate the rims of the wine glasses in the form of a “snow coating”, sprinkling them with powdered sugar or sugar. To do this, wet the edge from the inside, and then drown the wine glass in the prepared raw materials.

1. The best mulled wine - made from figs and more

This festive drink breaks records, because look how many “fragrant bouquets” are collected here, and the taste is excellent and enchanting!

Required ingredients:

  • red wine - 2 liters;
  • sweet tangerine - 1 fruit;
  • lemon zest - from 1 lemon;
  • figs (ripe) - 7 pieces;
  • blueberries - a handful;
  • liquid honey - 3 tablespoons;
  • cloves - 8 buds;
  • cinnamon - 3 sticks;
  • cardamom - 1/2 teaspoon.

Mulled wine preparation technology

We wash the figs, drain them with a paper towel, cut each one into four parts and place them in a saucepan. Add all the spices, berries and lemon zest. Then cut the tangerine in half and lightly squeeze out the juice with your hands. Pour honey over the fruit, close the container and put it in the refrigerator overnight.

Next, remove the contents from the cold, which are fragrant in every way, and put them on low heat. Warm up the “honey-spicy” fruits for seven minutes and cool. Pour the wine over the fruit and let it stand for about an hour at room temperature.

Place the saucepan over the lowest heat and begin to heat the contents of the bag for at least 20 minutes. But, I want to repeat that the longer the heating time, the more aromatic and tastier the mulled wine will be. Pour the finished drink into glasses and enjoy with great pleasure with delicious cheese and figs.

2. New Year's punch

Each of us already knows that punch is a cocktail drink, which is most often prepared with the addition of alcohol, natural juices and all kinds of additives.

Components:

  • orange juice - 1.5 liters;
  • lemonade - 0.5 liters;
  • pomegranate - 2 large fruits;
  • champagne - 1 bottle;
  • orange ice cream - 800 grams.

Technology for preparing an aristocratic drink

All liquid ingredients must be refrigerated. Peel the pomegranates, remove the seeds, and then squeeze the juice out of them. Place the ice cream in a deep, comfortable bowl, then slowly pour in the juice and lemonade. Lastly, open the champagne and stir quickly. Pour a little pomegranate juice into the bottom of the glass, then pour the prepared mixture and serve immediately.

6. Cranberry cocktail or mild spiced wine

This cocktail is popular in Norway, as this tonic drink warms the soul and body, is healthy and festive. The drink itself is bright, which is considered to be a symbolic red color for the Year of the Fire Rooster. Let's try to cook.

Components:

  • dry red wine - 450 milliliters;
  • orange juice - 2 tablespoons;
  • cranberries - 120 grams;
  • cloves - 5 pieces;
  • sugar - 45-50 grams;
  • water - 55-75 milliliters;
  • cinnamon - according to preference;
  • apple - 1 medium-sized fruit;
  • ginger - to taste;
  • liquid honey - 1.5 teaspoons.

A homemade cranberry cocktail recipe is prepared as follows:

1. Sort and rinse the cranberries. Pour water into a saucepan, add cranberries, add a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. This is followed by orange juice, prepared ginger and some water. You need to pour enough water so that the berries are visible on the surface.

2. Bring all contents to a boil and reduce heat. Boil for no more than three minutes and it will be noticeable that the berries are breaking the texture.

3. Rub the cranberry mixture through a colander and slowly pour into a heated ladle or glass.

4. Fill another bowl with: 1/2 of an apple fruit, cut into slices, cloves and good quality honey. Pour in the wine and bring to a boil over low heat. After this procedure, remove the cloves and apples, and add cranberry puree. The consistency of the drink should be thick and sticky.

5. Heat the glasses and fill them with ready-made mulled wine. For decoration, add chopped apples to each serving of mulled wine.

Until we meet again, my dear readers and friends, write, I will answer all your questions with great pleasure.

You can't do without drinks on the New Year's table. They wonderfully warm or cool, invigorate, refresh and intoxicate. It all depends on what kind of drinks you will drink on New Year's Eve. On holiday, you can indulge in your favorite drink, but you still need to observe moderation in everything so that the first day of the new year does not go unnoticed. After all, the New Year is not only about food and drinks, it is also about fun, music, and communication.
You need to choose drinks for the New Year 2019: recipes with photos not after you have chosen what you will cook, but at the same time as the dishes. After all, food and drinks should be in harmony with each other. You need to choose alcoholic New Year's drinks especially carefully. If you choose white wines, then give preference to fish dishes, cheese, and light salads. Red wine is an ideal companion for hot meat dishes. Vodka is perfect with caviar and fatty snacks. What dishes go well with cocktails depends on what kind of cocktails they are.
Now New Year's drinks are very diverse. If you haven’t chosen anything ready-made, you can read the recipes for New Year’s drinks and make them yourself. It’s especially good to cook it yourself if you need New Year’s drinks for children. Natural milkshakes, compotes from frozen or dried fruits, unusual teas with additives and other drinks prepared at home are much tastier and healthier than sweet store-bought soda.
Drinks for the New Year of the Pig should be natural. This noble animal loves only environmentally friendly products and drinks only clean water. Therefore, the most important drink on the New Year's table is water. Hot drinks for the year of the pig should also be natural. Maybe it will be mulled wine or tea, if you prefer non-alcoholic drinks for the New Year's table. Just like children, many adults love milkshakes. White as snow, they will look great on the New Year's table.
Selecting and preparing drinks for the New Year's table 2019 is a great pleasure. This is an opportunity to show your imagination. If inspiration strikes you, you can come up with your own recipes, or add new ingredients to long-known cocktails to make them even more interesting and festive. If the recipe is quite bold, then test it first on a small portion of the drink, and preferably do it in advance, and not on New Year's Eve.
