Recipe for tea with apples. Fragrant tea with apples and cinnamon

Hot apple tea is a wonderful drink for a cold and windy winter. It quickly warms up and helps replenish the lack of vitamins that are so lacking at this time. Plus, the fruit mixture is delicious and can be prepared in minutes. And if you add a spoonful of cognac or rum to a hot drink, you will get a tasty and aromatic cocktail for adults.

Composition of apple tea

Everyone knows about the benefits of the ruddy-golden fruit. As the famous English proverb says: “Eat an apple a day and your doctor will be out of work.” But this applies to whole fruits, but what about tea? Is it just as useful?

In fact, the fruit drink contains the same compounds as fresh fruit, with the possible exception of vitamin C. Some of the ascorbic acid is destroyed by heat treatment, so it is better not to brew teas, but to infuse them. Then the loss of useful compounds will be minimal.

A fruit drink prepared according to the rules contains:

  • vitamins A, B9, B1, B2, E, K, niacin;
  • microelements - calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, copper;
  • essential amino acids;
  • pectin;
  • sugars - fructose, sucrose, glucose;
  • antioxidants.
The largest amount of useful substances is contained in the peel. If fruits are picked in your own garden or bought from friends, it is better not to peel them before eating. The seeds of the fruit are no less healing - they contain a lot of iodine and selenium.

Who needs an apple drink?

Tea with apple is an excellent prevention of cardiovascular pathologies and stroke. The beneficial compounds contained in the fruits prevent the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and remove excess cholesterol. Green fruits are especially active in this regard.

Attention. According to many studies, apples reduce the risk of developing cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, lungs and prostate.

Regular consumption of apple tea has a beneficial effect on the entire body:

  • digestion improves;
  • immunity increases;
  • blood sugar decreases;
  • microflora in the intestines is restored;
  • blood pressure normalizes.

Folic acid (vitamin B9) improves metabolism and accelerates the synthesis of blood cells. Iron prevents the development of anemia, and pectin cleanses the body of poisons and toxins.

Antioxidants, which are abundant in apple tea, neutralize free radicals, saturate tissues and cells with oxygen, and slow down the aging process. In addition to antioxidants, ruddy fruits contain anti-inflammatory substances, therefore they are useful for patients with arthrosis, arthritis and other joint pathologies.

Apples are also necessary for those who want to lose weight. The low calorie count and sweet taste make the fruit an invaluable component of many diets. In addition, fruit tea perfectly supports eye health, improves memory and attention, increases the body's reaction and endurance.

Apples are very useful for Parkinson's disease. Regular consumption of teas and fresh fruits will slow down the development of the disease, stop the death of neurons and brain cells, and increase dopamine levels.

How to brew apple tea?

The fruit drink has nothing in common with the usual compote. It is prepared differently, and the taste largely depends on the type of fruit - it can be sweet, tart or sour.

Making apple tea is a real art. The taste and aroma of the finished drink is influenced by the base of the vitamin mixture. If you use plain water, just pour boiling liquid over the components and leave for a few minutes. It is recommended to add flower honey to the finished tea.

If the drink is created on the basis of juice (apple or any other), it must be carefully heated. Under no circumstances should the liquid be boiled. Slow heating in a water bath to a temperature of 80–90° C with constant stirring is recommended.

Beautiful and bright tea should be prepared and served in transparent containers. If the ingredients include berries with small stones (sea buckthorn) or loose tea, it is better to use a French press for brewing so as not to bother with straining.

Advice. A drink with one apple can be prepared in a large cup, from which you can drink. Eat pieces of fruit with a spoon and get extra pleasure.

Any apples - fresh or dried - are suitable for making tea. Local varieties are the most useful. They are, as a rule, only made from wood and not processed in any way. Small and sour fruits, such as china, make an excellent drink.

Recipes for apple tea with orange and cinnamon sometimes remind me of scripts for some kind of ritual sacraments. For example, some authors insist that the orange be cut strictly into 8 pieces, sprinkled with cinnamon and left to soak for half an hour. I can imagine: I come home from work so cold in the evening and let’s cut, sprinkle and wait... I’m not saying that everyone goes crazy in their own way, but that this tea is much easier to prepare. It is enough to spend five minutes in the kitchen, and then wait another ten for the tea to steep. The taste of the drink is made up of sweet and sour fruit juices and a tart note of tea; the aroma is created by a combination of essential oils that are released from orange peel, apple peel, and cinnamon. And here it is important that she does not clog the fruit. Therefore, it is better to take a cinnamon stick - it will give the tea a light spicy tint. And it can then be used several more times. As for the preparation method, after trying different options, I came to the conclusion that the most delicious apple tea with orange and cinnamon is obtained if you do not use a teapot. I prepare this tea in a saucepan on the stove. In order for the fruits to release their aroma, they must be boiled. Simply pouring boiling water is not enough. By the way, along with the aroma, beneficial substances also penetrate into the drink. Apple tea with orange creates a bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect - so you can and should drink it during a cold. Thanks to the pectin content, this drink improves digestion, the orange aroma helps restore the nervous system, and the apple peel adds a portion of quercetin, a well-known antioxidant, to the tea. On top of that, orange essential oils in combination with cinnamon significantly reduce appetite, so this tea is a godsend for those who decide to give up a late dinner.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 1/2 apple
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 tbsp. black tea
  • 2 tsp Sahara
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to make apple tea with orange and cinnamon

1. To make two servings of this spicy winter tea, measure out two glasses of water. Pour water into a ladle and place on low heat.

2. Take black tea, measure out half a tablespoon and add to boiling water. This amount of tea will allow us to get a drink of medium strength. If desired, you can add more or less tea.

3. This tea simply has to be sweet. Not cloying, but rather sweet. The orange sourness really needs a touch; for two servings, just add 2 teaspoons of sugar.

4. Wash the fruits and wipe dry. Even the way the fruit is cut indicates that this is not an ordinary tea. It is important that the orange and apple slices remain whole, not crushed, and large enough to also serve as a decoration for the drink.

It is best to cut the apple and orange crosswise into two halves. In our case, there is no need to peel either the apple or the orange. Use a sharp knife to make beautiful slices.

5. The tea should have been well brewed by this point. It's time to add fruit and cinnamon to the tea. Boil everything together for 5 minutes over low heat. Then turn off the stove, cover the ladle with a lid and let the drink brew for at least 10 minutes.

Pour the finished tea with apple, orange and cinnamon into mugs (it is better to use transparent ones), add a few apple and orange slices to each mug. You can garnish the servings with an orange slice (in the style of a cocktail), or add a cinnamon stick directly to the mug.

That's all. This is quite enough to turn an ordinary weeknight into a bright and memorable one.

Helps enhance metabolic processes, normalizes intestinal function. And the combination of cinnamon and apples is simply a miracle drink. There are probably thousands of tea recipes in the world, and everyone will like something different. No wonder, because tea is called the most popular drink in the world; it is drunk both in the eastern and western hemispheres, in the north and in the south. This drink has no contraindications; it can be consumed by both children and the elderly.

Let's move on to drinks, namely tea. I came across this original recipe some time ago on the Internet and seemed interesting, I even prepared a little to try, then prepared more.

I’ll say right away that this tea is not for everyone, but it’s very interesting, I love these. ¬It has an unusual rich taste. Moreover, if each component is useful individually, all of them together will certainly not be harmful. I think many who prepare it will be happy to drink this healing and warming tea.

Cinnamon tea - ingredients

  • Apple – 3 pcs.
  • Lemon – 1 pc.
  • Black leaf tea – 50 g.
  • Sugar (fine) – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Cloves – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Cinnamon – 2 sticks.

Making cinnamon tea

  • Wash the apples, peel the seeds and cut into small pieces.
  • Place them in a bowl, pour over lemon juice and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Preheat the oven to 100 degrees, place the apples on a baking sheet and place in the oven for an hour and a half.
  • Remove the apples from the oven and leave to cool.
  • Meanwhile, heat the cinnamon and cloves in a dry frying pan for no more than 2 minutes.
  • Place them in a mortar and crush well. You can do this in a coffee grinder, but the mixture will not be as fragrant.
  • In a large bowl, combine tea, spices and apples. Stir everything, put it in an airtight jar and let it mature for 2 weeks.

When the mixture is ready, brew it as usual for an hour and enjoy the taste.

It is believed that in the absence of contraindications, juicy apple fruits should always be present in the daily diet. The British have a good proverb about this: “Eating one apple a day will keep your doctor out of work.”

For those who don’t like fresh apples or have highly sensitive teeth, you can add them to baked goods and salads or make apple tea.

The common myth that all the benefits of apples disappear when cooked is actually not true.

Drinks made from them have all the same properties as ripe fresh fruits, namely, the presence of vitamins A, PP, K, E, group B, pectin, fructose, flavonoids, calcium, zinc, magnesium and other equally useful macro- and microelements. The only difference is that the composition does not contain ascorbic acid and plant fiber, which are broken down during heat treatment. When consumed regularly, apple drink:

  • strengthens the immune system;
  • reduces bad cholesterol levels;
  • removes toxins and waste from the body;
  • normalizes digestion;
  • improves metabolic processes in the body;
  • serves as a prevention of anemia;
  • invigorates.

The calorie content of the fruit per 100 g is only 47 kcal, so tea with apples can be used in a diet for weight loss. It not only helps break down fats and fight hunger, but also fills the body with energy without overstimulating the nervous system.

Despite all their beneficial properties, in order not to harm the body, apples should not be consumed if:

  • allergic reaction and individual intolerance;
  • stomach and duodenal ulcers;
  • gastritis with high acidity.

In case of gastrointestinal diseases, the consumption of fruits should be agreed upon with the attending physician.

Tea preparation

To enjoy tea with apples all year round, you can purchase a ready-made product in the supermarket or prepare (dry) it yourself. To do this, select clean, undamaged, ripe fruits of sweet and sour varieties.

  1. Cut the apples into thin slices. Moreover, all slices should be approximately the same thickness, no more than 1 cm.
  2. To keep sliced fruits color and not oxidize, you can dip them in a weak salt solution (a teaspoon of the product per liter of water) for a couple of minutes. But you can skip this step.
  • Oven. Place the sliced apples in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Dry for about an hour at 50°C with the door ajar until the raw materials begin to wilt. Then another 4-5 hours at 70-80°C. The initial low drying temperature will preserve all the beneficial substances.
  • In the sun. Place the apples on a surface in a well-ventilated place in the sun (balcony, window sill). To prevent insects from entering, cover with gauze. Stir occasionally until completely dry. Bring it indoors at night.
  • In an electric dryer. Drying time and temperature for each model are indicated individually.
  • In the microwave. Cover a plate with a cotton cloth, place fruit slices on it in a thin layer, and cover with the same material on top. In 200 W mode, drying takes no more than 3-4 minutes.
