You also can’t overdo it with sugar, otherwise the dough will be rougher than you would like. Below are the ideal proportions of ingredients that will make the pie simply delicious. Just keep in mind that the jellied pie cannot be stored for a long time; in the refrigerator, the dough settles a little and becomes rougher. So it is better to eat the pie hot or warm, without leaving it for later.

  • 3 medium apples;
  • 4 tbsp. with a pile of sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 0.5 l. kefir;
  • 2 tbsp. flour;
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
  • 2 tsp baking powder for dough;
  • a small pinch of salt;
  • 2 pinches of vanillin.

Recipe for jellied pie with apples on kefir

Before starting to prepare the pie, set the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

1. Break the eggs into a deep bowl, add 2 tbsp. with a pile of sugar. Mix using a hand whisk or mixer at medium speed.

2. Add flour; it is advisable to sift it first. And, although by its nature a jellied pie cannot be very airy, sifted flour will enrich the baked goods with oxygen and the pie will turn out a little more tender. Add baking powder for the dough (I used 1 teaspoon of soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar instead of baking powder in the next step) and vanillin. Mix everything carefully.

3. Add vegetable oil. If we use soda in the recipe, then quench it with vinegar and pour it into the dough.

4. Mix with a mixer at medium speed. The dough for jellied pie with apples on kefir should turn out liquid like sour cream. It's also good if there are bubbles in the dough.

5. Peel the apples for the pie from skins and seeds, cut into slices or cubes - whichever you prefer.

6. Add half the apples to the dough, leave half for decoration. Mix.

7. Pour the dough for the jellied pie with apples into the mold.

In order for the dough to bake well inside and not burn on the outside, you should not choose a mold with very high sides. It is also not recommended to use a springform pan, as the batter may leak out from the bottom if the bottom of the pan does not fit well to the sides.

  • 250 gr. flour;

Cover the bottom of the baking dish with parchment and grease the paper with oil. We lay out the slices in neat rows if the shape is square and in a “fan” if the dish is round. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of sugar (take from the measured amount) with cinnamon and sprinkle on apples.

  • a teaspoon of baking powder;
  • vanillin;
