  2. Each vegetable must be thoroughly washed and then chopped into large cubes or half rings.

And the last option is to cut the zucchini into small cubes about 1–1.5 centimeters in length and width. At the end, pour the chopped vegetables into a clean small bowl and proceed to the final stages of preparing the dish.

Step 7: prepare hard cheese.


Using a fine grater, grind the hard cheese directly on the cutting board. Then we pour the shavings into a clean saucer and wrap them in cling film so that the component does not dry out while we make the preparations for the casserole.

Step 8: prepare the meat casserole with vegetables.


Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the first frying pan and place over medium heat. When the contents of the container are well heated, pour in the chopped onion. Stirring occasionally with a wooden spatula, fry the component for 3–4 minutes. After the allotted time has passed, add minced pork and beef to the pan. Mix everything again with available equipment and continue to fry the mixture until it acquires a pronounced brown color. This is what will mean that the minced meat is well fried and you can move on to the next stage of preparing the casserole.

Pour the remaining vegetable oil into another frying pan and place over medium heat. When the contents of the container are well warmed up, put the carrot chips here and mix well with a wooden spatula. Fry the chopped vegetable until light golden brown. Immediately after this, add the zucchini to the pan and continue cooking the vegetable mixture for another 5–7 minutes. Attention: Don’t forget to mix the ingredients from time to time using available equipment so that they do not burn at the base of the container.

After the allotted time has passed, turn off the burner and carefully transfer the contents of the container into a medium bowl. Add the fried minced meat with onions, salt to taste and mix everything well with a tablespoon.

Now grease the bottom and walls of a deep baking dish with a piece of butter and then put the mixture here. Level its surface with a tablespoon and then sprinkle with grated hard cheese.

Turn on the oven and preheat it to temperature 180 °C. Immediately after this, place the casserole container on the middle level and cook the dish for 20 minutes until a beautiful golden crust appears on the surface. After the allotted time has passed, turn off the oven, take out the pan using oven mitts and leave it aside. Let the casserole cool slightly.

Step 9: Serve the meat casserole with vegetables.


Using a knife, cut the finished casserole into portioned pieces and transfer them, using a wooden spatula, to a special plate. Since the dish is quite filling, we serve it at the dinner table along with slices of bread or pita bread.
