It is better to use red onions for this dish, but regular ones will do. Let's cut it into halves of thinner rings.

We will pre-marinate the chicken, so we will make a sauce: mix mustard, lemon juice and soy sauce. Now a few words about these ingredients. Of course, lemon juice in such a marinade is perfect option. But, if for some reason you cannot or simply do not want to go to the store for one lemon, then it is quite possible to replace it with 6% apple cider vinegar. Take 2 teaspoons. You can take 9% (1 teaspoon), but it is not useful, so it is better not to buy it at all.

Remove the skin from the chicken breast. This is a must if you are preparing a dish for proper nutrition.

Now place all the onions in a bowl or deep plate, place the chicken on top and pour the marinade over everything. Leave the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour.
