Cooking method: in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes – 600-700 g
  • minced meat – 300 g
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp. spoons
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • vegetable oil.

Preparation

  1. Cooking potatoes in a Redmond slow cooker. Place finely chopped onions in the multicooker bowl. Pour in vegetable oil. Turn on the “Frying” mode for 10 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onion until golden brown. Frying time will be less than 10 minutes. Therefore, focus not on time, but on the type of onion.

  3. Now let's add it to the onion. You can prepare it yourself or buy it ready-made in the store. Place the minced meat in small pieces in a bowl and mix with the onion.

  4. Cook on the “Fry” mode for another five minutes. In this case, you can add salt and pepper to the minced meat.

  5. Peel the potatoes and cut them into four parts. If the tubers are small, you can cut them in half. Place the potatoes in a bowl.

  6. Add salt and pepper. Mix. Pour half a glass of water. Turn on the “Extinguishing” mode for 20-25 minutes. Only when baking, the potatoes need to be stirred two or three times so that they brown on different sides and do not burn. And when stewing, potatoes in a slow cooker cook themselves without our help. So I still advise you to stew the potatoes.

  7. About five or ten minutes before the end of cooking the potatoes, add sour cream to the multicooker bowl. Stir and close the lid again. We are waiting for the end of the program. If suddenly there is a lot of liquid in the bowl, you can cook the dish for another 5-10 minutes on the “Frying” mode. This way, all excess moisture will evaporate, and potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker will be very tasty. And sour cream will give it juiciness.
