Children really love all sorts of cottage cheese treats. Indulging their desires I cook

Puff pastries with apples are a delicacy that is at the top of the list of favorites not only for many children, but also for adults. Some people tried this type of baking for the first time thanks to their grandmother or mother, but many students will tell you that they got hooked on it specifically during their student life. Delicious and hearty dish, with hot tea - what else does a student need to refresh himself? Is it just a piece? chicken meat, rich soup and lots of pork cutlets!

But let’s return to puff pastries and understand that there are several ways to prepare this wonderful dish. First of all, it is worth clarifying that the basis of any baking is the dough, which you can prepare either yourself or buy already finished product in the shop. Since puff pastries are very popular, there are many recipes for preparing them. If we talk about dough, then most often puff pastries are made from ordinary puff pastry or puff pastry. yeast dough. Depending on the option chosen, you will end up with a completely different (taste-wise) delicacy.

Today I bring to the attention of readers my proven version of this popular dish, according to which puff pastries will be prepared from puff pastry. This time I didn’t get fancy and prepare the dough myself, but simply bought it at the store. I advise everyone to do the same - it will save not only time, but also money, since homemade dough, if you look at the price of the ingredients, it ends up being more expensive than store-bought.

Once the dilemma with the dough is resolved, you can already think about the shape of the puffs. If you want to show your imagination, you can give the baked goods any shape, but I settled on the classic version.

The very last choice will be about the filling. Based on the name, everyone already understood that this time I used apples, but it was just my whim. Apples can be replaced with your favorite fruits, berries or cottage cheese.

Before serving, sprinkle the apple puffs with powdered sugar, and before they have cooled, start tasting them. As for me, better than dessert It’s simply not suitable for tea or cocoa.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g store-bought puff pastry
  • 8 apples
  • 3 tbsp. Sahara
  • Citric acid to taste
  • 6 tbsp. water
  • Powdered sugar for serving
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. water

Apple puff pastries are so easy to prepare if you use store-bought dough that even a person with zero culinary experience can master the cooking recipe. The ingredients needed for the recipe are very cheap, so this delicacy can be prepared every day, tirelessly alternating the filling. Finally, as always, I want to give some tips so that your puff pastries with apples turn out fragrant, fluffy and will please you with their taste qualities all your household:
  • If you busy man, then stock up store-bought dough, store it in the freezer and use as needed. So, for any spontaneous desire to taste delicious food, you will have the necessary ingredients at hand;
  • According to this recipe, you can prepare puff pastries with any fillings (berries or fruits); apples are just one of many options;
  • Don’t forget to brush the puff pastries with beaten yolk and water before putting them in the oven. This way they will acquire a more ruddy, and therefore appetizing appearance;
  • Before serving, you can sprinkle the puff pastries with powdered sugar, or make stripes of chocolate icing on them.

I never tire of singing an ode to ready-made puff pastry, which is always available in our supermarkets. Although I don’t mind making any other dough myself, I buy puff pastry in the store - it always makes delicious pastries and it doesn’t take much time to prepare it, which, you see, is very valuable.

The next time our grandson came to visit us, he asked from the doorway: “Lena, have you baked anything?” I replied that not yet, I didn’t have time. He said, “Let’s make apple and cinnamon puffs.” -Will you help me? - I asked. Marat happily agreed, I didn’t mind either, because I had all the ingredients for puff pastries with apples made from puff pastry.

In case of such emergency orders, I always have puff pastry in the freezer. This time it was yeast, I wanted to bake it and in the evening it moved from the freezer to the refrigerator so that it would thaw naturally, but since we decided to make puff pastries, then there will be puff pastries. There is also no shortage of apples, the summer harvest this year was good, I think there will be enough of our own until spring.

I took the dough out of the refrigerator, it was already soft, I took it out of the packaging so that the dough plates would not stick together while I was preparing the apples. When everything was ready, we started making puff pastries.

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry yeast - 500 gr.
  • apples - 4 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp.
  • egg for lubrication

How to make apple puffs from puff pastry:

This was a test for Marat - I said that they should cool down, and this would only be after lunch. And if before that he said that he was not hungry and did not want to have lunch, then his appetite immediately appeared. By that time Lera, our eldest granddaughter, had come home from school; she, unlike her grandson, studies on Saturdays; apparently they still feel sorry for the first-graders. And after lunch, they and we enjoyed delicious puff pastries with apples and cinnamon.

P.S. We all love cinnamon with apples, but if you don’t like cinnamon, you can leave it out. By the way, yeast-free puff pastry is also suitable for these puff pastries. Look, that's exactly what I used there.

Apples are good for various baked goods, but the classic of the genre, in my opinion, is Charlotte, for which look at the recipe.

Bon appetit!

Ideas for decorating beautiful baked goods

Take these design ideas beautiful baked goods for service.

If puff pastry for puff pastries consists of one layer, then you need to cut it into rectangles of about 10-20 cm (you get about 4 puff pastries). Each workpiece is divided into two parts. In one part, make cuts lengthwise at a distance of 1 cm, not reaching the edge by 1 cm. Place the filling on the uncut part, cover with the second part, press the edges (not folded) quite firmly with a fork. This will prevent the puff pastries from “opening” during baking. Do the same with the rest of the blanks.

Prepare puff pastry apple puffs - simple and delicate dessert for evening tea for the whole family. Fragrant pastries with apples, sprinkled with powdered sugar, will decorate your table.

Choose your most delicious recipe puff pastries with apples, which will delight your family with its aroma and bright design. Also on my colleague Oksana’s blog you can see recipes for delicious buns made from yeast dough and 22 ways to make them.

Autumn has arrived and most people now watch how to cook or how to cook. My first video - subscribe to the channel, like it. Now I will have more work, I will congratulate everyone on the holidays, and we have a lot of them!

So, I have 500 g of ready-made puff pastry. You can use either yeast or yeast-free puff pastry; I have the second option. Most often, such puff pastry is sold in packs, where it has the form of layers of the same thickness and shape. And just my 500 g of dough is represented by three such layers.

And yes, don’t forget to turn on the oven at the very beginning of preparing puff pastry apple puffs. Baking temperature – 180 degrees. By the time the baking sheet is still raw puff pastries goes into the oven, it will already be warmed up.

From three layers of finished puff pastry, I should get 9 puffs with apples, and each such puff will be slightly smaller than a woman’s palm. I cut each strip (layer) of dough crosswise into three parts. In total we got 9 rectangles.

We roll out each rectangle of dough and thereby increase its area. The approximate thickness of the dough is now about 3 mm. Visually divide the rectangle into two parts, and then make cuts on one of the parts as in the photo.

In this way, I prepared all the dough pieces, after which I moved on to preparing the apple filling for future puff pastries.

To prepare the filling I took three sour apples, washed them and cut out the core. Then I cut the apples into small cubes and added three tablespoons of sugar and one tablespoon corn starch(you can also use potato). Mix the filling thoroughly so that the starch covers each piece of apple.

Why is there starch here? During the baking process of the apple puffs, the apples will release juice, which will begin to flow out. But we want to get beautiful puff pastries with apples, so the starch will mix with apple juice During the baking process, the filling will not leak out due to the fact that it thickens slightly.

Divide the apple filling equally into 9 layers.

Carefully seal the edges of the puff pastries, otherwise during the baking process you risk getting something else instead of puff pastries with apples.

Place the apple puffs from the prepared puff pastry onto a floured baking sheet. But that's not all, we need an egg. Shake it lightly with a fork and brush the surface of each apple puff with egg. Only after this do we send the baking sheet with apple puffs into an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake them for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

You will be surprised at how the puff pastries will begin to “grow” and “broaden” during the baking process. It seems that I rolled out the puff pastry very thinly, but the finished puff pastry has great potential, it still took its toll and the puff pastries acquired a very appetizing airiness.

All that remains is to decorate the apple puffs from the prepared puff pastry a small amount powdered sugar and you can serve them to the table. Airy, crispy, juicy apple filling The puff pastries look very impressive, no worse than store-bought ones (to be honest, they cannot be compared to store-bought ones). And with a glass of milk or a cup of tea, these wonderful apple puffs can inspire and lift your spirits literally instantly!

Bon appetit, my dear readers. Now you have another simple but very tasty recipe for homemade baking. I hope you try it out and post your results in the comments below. I wish you all success and a nice day :)
