  1. Peel the pumpkin from seeds, fibers and peel, cut into pieces, bake in the oven at 170 degrees for 40 minutes. Grind ready-made pieces of pumpkin in a blender with the addition of garlic, salt and pepper, or rub on a fine grater.
  2. Spread puree on 10 slices of bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  3. Cover with remaining 10 slices. There should be 10 hot sandwiches in total.
  4. Heat a frying pan, put butter or pour in oil. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until bread is browned and cheese is melted.
  5. Place the fried pumpkin croutons on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  6. Before serving, cut each sandwich in half diagonally to form triangles.
  7. Garnish with greens and a slice of pickled or fresh cucumber.
