Meat nests with egg and cheese. Very juicy, tender minced meat nests

Calories: Not specified
Cooking time: Not indicated

Ingredients:

- minced meat – 400 gr.;
- egg – 2 pcs.;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- white loaf – 2 slices;
- salt - to taste;
- ground black pepper or other spices – 0.5 tsp;
- hard cheese – 80-100 gr.;
- sour cream – 1 tbsp.

Recipe with photos step by step:

Add an onion, chopped in a meat grinder or grated, to the minced meat. Soak the bread slices, cutting off the thick crusts. Add the bread crumb to the minced meat.

Beat the egg with a fork and pour into the minced meat. Next add salt and selected spices.

After mixing, beat the minced meat until it becomes more homogeneous, viscous and sticky. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

For the filling, grate the cheese through a coarse grater. Add a beaten egg (small or half a large one) and a spoonful of low-fat sour cream. Mix everything and add some salt taking into account the saltiness of the cheese.

Place round pieces of minced meat into a greased form. Then we press a hole in each one and trim the edges.

We fill the recesses with the prepared filling, and put 1.5-2 teaspoons of the cheese-egg mixture into each “nest”.

Place the mold with nests in the hot oven on the top level. After 15 minutes, when the filling has set, lower the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for another 15 minutes until the minced meat is ready. Serve ready-made, accompanied by fresh vegetables, herbs, or prepare a side dish in advance for a more satisfying meal.

Bon appetit!

Meat dishes prepared for the family should always be varied. If your freezer is filled to the top with only minced meat (which is very good), and you fry regular cutlets every day, your household will refuse them within a week. They will simply get tired of such food. Be smarter and more inventive: offer your gourmets baked minced meat nests with cheese and egg filling. Essentially, these are the same cutlets, only with a slightly changed composition of ingredients and cooking method. If the first ones are fried in a frying pan, then the meat nests are baked in the oven.

How to cook minced meat nests in the oven

The proposed step-by-step photo recipe involves baking them from minced chicken. However, the meat can be anything.

Ingredients:

for cutlet mass:

  • minced chicken – 300 g,
  • onion – 1 head,
  • egg – 1 pc.,
  • raw potatoes – 1 pc.,
  • garlic – 1 large clove,
  • white bread 2-3 pieces + 0.5 cups of milk to soak it,
  • salt - to taste,

For filling:

  • boiled eggs – 2 pcs.,
  • hard cheese – 50 g,
  • sour cream - 2 tablespoons,
  • salt - optional
  • sunflower oil for greasing the mold.

Cooking process:

We clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the crust off the white bread and fill the crumb with milk. For cutlets, it is not at all necessary to take a fresh loaf; a 3-day-old loaf will also work (unless, of course, there is mold on it).

Place the eggs in a saucepan, fill with cold water, add some salt, and send to cook. 7 minutes after boiling, place under cold water to cool.

Turn on the oven at 200 degrees.

When all the components are prepared in advance, it is easier and faster to mix the mass. To do this, add three potatoes to the minced meat on the finest grater, an onion on a medium grater, and pass the garlic through a press.

Place softened and squeezed white bread there, beat in an egg and add salt. Mix thoroughly. It doesn't work well with a spoon, do it with your hands.

In a separate bowl, combine boiled, cooled and finely chopped eggs, sour cream and grated cheese.

Mix the filling. If your cheese is salty enough, you don’t need to add salt. However, if you still find it a bit bland, add a pinch of salt.

Line a baking dish with baking paper and grease with oil. We roll the flatbreads from the cutlet mass, place them in the mold, and make small indentations in the middle.

Place the filling on top. Calculate so that each “nest” receives an equal portion of the cheese and egg mass.

Place the minced meat nests in the oven for 35-40 minutes, bake at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.

This dish can be an ordinary everyday dish, or it can decorate a holiday table.

Bon appetit!

To prepare this dish, you will need special pasta that has Italian roots - nests (tagliatelle). These pasta products can be bought in almost any store; in fact, they are a type of noodles that are rolled into a circle. The dish, despite its original presentation, is very easy to prepare and does not require any special skills from you. This is not the first time I have prepared such nests of pasta with minced meat in the oven and I would like to note that it is really very tasty! Pasta must first be boiled and then filled with filling, in this case it will be minced meat. The highlight of this recipe will be the tomato-sour cream sauce in which they will be baked. Thanks to him, the dish turns out not only nourishing and tasty, but also very tender and juicy! Let’s finish all this off with a cheese “cap” to give the nests a more appetizing and elegant look. This dish will not only be a luxurious dinner idea for the whole family, but will also be a great idea for a holiday table. I recommend trying it! A step-by-step recipe with photos is presented below.

Ingredients:

  • 12 pasta nests.
  • 500 grams of minced meat.
  • 2 onions.
  • 1 medium sized carrot.
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste or sauce.
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream of any fat content.
  • 150 grams of hard cheese.
  • mayonnaise to taste.
  • salt and spices to taste.
  • vegetable oil.
  • Number of servings: 12.

For the filling, combine minced meat (I have beef + pork), one chopped onion and add salt and spices of your choice.

Then boil the pasta. To do this, you need to bring salted water to a boil, and then put our pasta nests on the bottom of the pan. We boil the nests in parts so that they lie in one layer. As soon as the pasta is placed in the water, you need to move it a little with a spatula so that the pasta does not stick to the bottom, and after boiling, cook it for no more than 3-5 minutes, depending on the manufacturer, until al dente. You need to pour in enough water to cover the pasta by 1-2 cm.

We take out the finished nests and put them in a baking dish, which must be greased with oil.

For the sauce, fry grated carrots and diced onions. There is no need to fry too much, just enough to soften the vegetables. Then add tomato paste, sour cream and cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes.

Then pour in 1.5 cups of water, I use the water left after cooking the pasta. Add salt to taste, you can add spices, bring everything to a boil and turn it off. The sauce is ready!

Now we prepare our dish for baking. Fill the pasta nests with minced meat, slightly pushing the middle apart, and press the minced meat with a fork. The nests can be planted either separately from each other or in an even layer, at your discretion.

Pour the prepared sauce over everything, trying to avoid the minced meat.

Then we apply a “cap” of mayonnaise to the minced meat. You can also replace it with sour cream, but our family prefers this option.

Distribute the grated cheese evenly over the mayonnaise.

Bake the nests in the oven at 180-200*C for about an hour. I go by the golden brown cheese crust on top.

All that remains is to cut the dish into portions and serve. Pasta nests prepared according to this recipe are a self-sufficient dish and a side dish is definitely not needed here. The only thing you can add when serving is fresh herbs or any vegetables.

This is how you can prepare a simple, but at the same time, gourmet dinner! The result is an excellent treat that truly no one can resist!

Bon appetit!!!

Best regards, Oksana Chaban.

Choose firm, medium-sized tomatoes. Don’t experiment with cheese - take a proven, hard variety. It is better to refuse to purchase a cheese product.

Ingredients:

  • minced pork – 700 g;
  • lard – 100 g;
  • table salt - 1 teaspoon;
  • onion – 1 large head;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • hard cheese – 150 g;
  • red tomato – 1 piece;
  • ground pepper – 1 teaspoon.

How to cook meat nests with cheese in the oven

If you purchased goulash or a piece of pulp, wash and dry. Remove the films and cut the meat and lard into small pieces. Peel the onion and divide into four parts. Grind the prepared meat, lard and onions through a meat grinder. If you have ready-made homemade minced meat, then chop only the onion slices and combine with minced meat.

Drop a fresh egg in there and stir. Add coarse salt and pepper and stir again. If you wish, you can add a clove of garlic, passed through a garlic press.

Mix the assorted meats well and beat them, then the nests will be more juicy and tender. If the minced meat is thick enough, add a tablespoon of warm water and mix the mixture thoroughly.

Wash the tomatoes and place them on a towel to drain. Cut into circles no thicker than five millimeters. Grind the cheese with a coarse grater or cut into thin slices. Using a spoon or your hand, scoop out the required amount of meat mixture and roll into smooth balls. Make cutlets out of them. Place the finished products in a baking dish. If you bake nests directly on a metal surface, it is possible that juice will leak out and burn.

Place a tomato circle in each cavity and lightly salt.

Place cheese on top.

You can sprinkle a little freshly ground pepper. Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, maintaining a temperature of 200-220 degrees. Serve hot.

Bon appetit!
