Easter is a holiday for which it is customary to prepare in advance and preferably with the whole family: bake and decorate Easter cakes, prepare cottage cheese Easter, paint eggs and consecrate all this wealth in church. You also need to cook something tasty and easy to break the fast. In general, there are enough worries before Easter, and many housewives simply do not have time to take care of setting the table and decorating the dishes, but a beautiful, tastefully decorated table is half the festive mood. Try to make Easter 2017 a truly bright and joyful holiday in your family. And the Culinary Eden website will help with ideas and original solutions.

In Russia, it is customary to prepare Easter pastries and eggs separately, but in Greece there is a beautiful custom of baking sweet Easter bread together with colored eggs. To do this, form a braid or wreath from the dough and insert eggs into the weave of the strands. Such pastries in themselves can become a decoration for any Easter table.

Easter bread can also be prepared in the form of a lamb, that is, a lamb. Molds in the shape of a lamb can be found in stores, but even without them you can bake a cupcake or Easter cake in the shape of a fluffy lamb. Dust it with powdered sugar or thick glaze, tie a colored ribbon around its neck and place it on a platter lined with fresh herbs.

Easter cakes and colored eggs can become interesting table decorations in themselves. Cover the Easter cakes with colored icing in delicate pastel colors, tie them with matching satin ribbons, paint the eggs in the same colors - and your Easter 2017 will be very stylish.

If you do not follow the rules of color combinations, but simply decorate the Easter cake with colored candied fruits and place eggs painted in all the colors of the rainbow next to it, it will also turn out very attractive. Flowers and colored ribbons will help complete the picture.

By the way, flowers, real or artificial, are always a win-win way to decorate a holiday table. Place a flower on small Easter cakes and they will immediately be transformed.

Easter cakes can be decorated with halves of canned peaches or apricots - they are very similar to the bright yolks of country eggs. For Easter cake with peaches, choose blue or green surroundings: napkins, cups, colored eggs.

Painted eggs are also a surefire way to decorate the Easter table. Make a cozy nest for them using fresh herbs or thinly cut strips of green paper.

More luxuriously colored eggs will look better in a basket. Cover a basket with lace napkins, put a pile of eggs in it, alternating them with toys, sweets and flowers.

A very original way to decorate the Easter table is to paint eggs with onion skins so that they are covered with a colored mesh. To do this, lightly break the boiled eggs, tapping them on the table on all sides, and leave them in the onion or tea broth for several hours. Serve the eggs peeled and surrounded by shells. With a dish of these eggs, your Easter 2017 will take on an oriental flavor.

Who said that Easter eggs must be real? They may well be made from cookies or gingerbread. Paint them with colored glaze and place a beautiful composition in a vase or nest.

Cottage cheese Easter can also serve as a table decoration. Lay out patterns on its surface using candied orange peel or colored candied fruits, place eggs painted in the same colors next to it, complement the composition with fresh mint and fresh flowers.

Craftswomen who know how to bake and decorate muffins can not limit their imagination for Easter. Miniature cupcakes with a cream cap in delicate spring colors and flowers made of mastic or marzipan will completely replace the traditional Easter cake. Painted chicken eggs will not fit in size, but you can paint quail eggs.

Another way to decorate small Easter cakes in an original way is to lay out chocolate cream in the form of a nest and fill this nest with colored mastic eggs or dragee candies.

When setting the table for Easter, try to use colors in the same range or the same shades. Pastel colors look tender in spring - purple, pink, cream. They go well with young spring greens.

For those with more traditional views, there is also a way to stylishly decorate the Easter table. Cover the table with a lace runner and place Easter cakes of different sizes and colored eggs on it. For the largest cake, use a cake stand. If you don't have one, you can place the plate on an inverted bowl.

Owners of samovars and homespun towels can decorate their holiday table in the traditional Russian style. Select paper molds with appropriate designs for baking Easter cakes - they will complement the picture and allow you to keep the Easter cakes fresh longer. Such a still life with Easter cakes and a samovar can be built a few days before Easter on a separate table or in a corner of your dining table - it will remind you of the upcoming holiday.

What to do with the other dishes that will be on your Easter table? How to make them festive? We also have several ideas on this matter. See how regular boiled eggs make a cute spring flower-like snack. You will need some fresh herbs and flowers. If there are no flowers, cut them from carrots or bell peppers.

If you plan to have ham rolls on your table, add a spring feel to them by tying them with onion arrows. You can do the same with stuffed eggs. A soft green tablecloth or napkins will support your mood.

Another version of decorating stuffed eggs uses traditional Easter colors - red and green. Garnish the deviled eggs with thick tomato sauce and fresh herbs, and add fresh tomatoes, lettuce or other vegetables. Such a bright appetizer will decorate any table.

Snack tartlets for Easter can be prepared in the shape of rabbits - fill them with white cheese cream, decorate with fresh vegetables, and make ears from thin sweet onion rings.

Layered salads provide a lot of room for imagination. In honor of Easter, your favorite salads can be decorated with images of a candle or the letters XB. Use pomegranate seeds, corn, egg yolks and whites, cranberries, olives, nuts, and fresh herbs for this. In an effort to decorate the Easter table, remember that all products should go well with each other. This is especially important for those who have fasted for the entire 7 weeks.
