Pie with curd balls recipe with photos. Chocolate with curd balls will appeal to chocolate lovers. Well, a very chocolate and very tasty pie. Try it!

For the curd balls you will need:

  • 250 grams of cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • You can add coconut flakes, but I did it without it and it still turned out delicious.

For the test you will need:

  • 4 eggs
  • 60 grams of sugar
  • Half a bar of dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons starch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pack of vanillin
  • a pinch of salt

How to make chocolate cake:

First, let's make the curd balls. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve.

Add egg and sugar, mix thoroughly. If you want, add coconut flakes, but it turned out just as tasty without it.

Roll into balls with your hands and put them in a separate container for now; you can put them in the refrigerator.

Chocolate pie. Dough

Now let's start the test. Separate the yolks from the whites and pour them into different containers. Add half the amount of sugar to the yolks and beat until white.

We begin to beat the whites. Do not pour out all the sugar at once, you need to add it in small portions, only the whites will beat better. I did this: I poured the whites into a bowl, added a pinch of salt (salt makes the whites whip even better) and beat with a mixer until a slight foam appears. Then I added a little sugar and continued to beat, after a while I added more sugar, beat, and after another time I added the remaining sugar and beat until a strong, stable foam appeared.

Melt the chocolate and add it to the whipped yolks. Now we need to combine the beaten yolks and whites. We do this carefully, add the yolks into the whites in portions and mix very carefully, slowly.

Pour flour, starch, baking powder, vanillin and cocoa into a separate cup. Mix everything together with a spoon.

Now sift into the protein-chocolate mixture, do it gradually, and not all at once, and mix the mass very carefully.

The result should be a mixture similar in consistency to thick sour cream.

All that remains is to bake ours chocolate pie. You can bake both in the oven and in a slow cooker. In both cases, grease the baking container with butter. Then pour the dough and place the curd balls on top, slightly deepening them into the dough. That's all. Place in the oven to bake for about 1 hour at 180 degrees, check for doneness with a toothpick. If you bake in a multicooker, then set the “Baking” mode for 50 minutes.

Ready! Enjoy your tea!

I came across this recipe in different variations - the finished pie can be glazed with some kind of fondant, you can cook custard, or leave it as is, without cream. You can make the dough two-color if you divide it into two parts, add chocolate to one, and not to the second. In this case, first pour one part of the dough into the baking dish (any part of the dough, at your discretion), then place the curd balls and fill with the second part of the dough. In a word, fantasize! Each housewife can have different versions of the same pie! Good luck and enjoy your tea!

Step 1: prepare the curd balls.

Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve. Add granulated sugar, coke shavings and one egg to it. Mix everything well until you have a nice homogeneous mass.

Form the resulting mass into neat small balls in your palms. Fold them immediately into a form lined with parchment (or greased with butter, as you prefer), but if you are not sure that you will complete all the other steps quickly enough, then it is better to put the finished curd balls in the refrigerator for now.

Step 2: prepare the eggs.

First, break the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Just be very careful so that not a drop of yolk gets into the whites, and the dishes must first be thoroughly washed with dishwashing detergent.
Add to yolks 30 grams sugar and beat with a mixer until white.
Beat the remaining sugar with the egg whites. But everything is not so simple here, sugar needs to be added in small portions as the foam forms. First, lightly beat the whites (at the minimum speed of the mixer) with a pinch of salt, then add sugar, achieve a thicker foam, increase the speed and add another portion of granulated sugar. Continue whisking, gradually adding granulated sugar, until the whites turn into a thick foam that does not spill out if you tilt the plate with it.

Step 3: prepare the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until it is quite liquid.
Mix the melted chocolate with the yolks beaten with sugar. Pour in the chocolate slowly, stirring the mixture all the time.

Step 4: mix the chocolate mixture.

In a separate bowl, mix cocoa, flour, starch, baking powder and vanillin.
Combine the whites and yolks (to which chocolate has already been added). Do this carefully, carefully mixing the thick foam and chocolate mixture.
Now combine the bulk ingredients and the viscous egg-chocolate mass. Add one to the other in small portions, mixing thoroughly each time. As a result, you will get a homogeneous mass, reminiscent of sour cream in thickness.

Step 5: bake a pie with curd balls.

Set the oven to preheat to 180 degrees Celsius. At this time, take out the previously set aside mold with curd balls and pour the chocolate mixture into it. Well, or you can first pour the mixture, and then put the balls into it.
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake it for 1 hour. We check the readiness of the baked goods with a toothpick (stick it into the dough, if it comes out dry, it’s ready).
Remove the finished pie with curd balls from the oven, cool at room temperature, and then feel free to serve it for tea or on a holiday table.

Step 6: Serve the pie with curd balls.

A pie with curd balls turns out delicious, but for beauty, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar or grease it with sour cream (or maybe chocolate) cream. Serve as a dessert with strong tea or coffee. All chocolate fans will definitely like it, and others will not be able to stand aside.
Bon appetit!

It is not necessary to add coconut flakes to the curd balls; the pie turns out very tasty without this ingredient.

You can also bake a pie with curd balls in a multicooker; to do this, you need to coat the bowl with butter, then put the curd balls in it, pour the chocolate mixture over them, select the “Baking” mode and set the timer for 50 minutes. You can remove the pie from the multicooker bowl only after it has cooled completely.

Chocolate curd pie with curd balls - step-by-step recipe with photos

The original chocolate pie with curd balls is quite easy to prepare in a slow cooker. This unique kitchen device will perfectly monitor the entire baking process. The optimal thermal regime will not allow the cake to burn, and the airy sponge cake will delight you with the ideal state of readiness. The pie can also be baked in the oven (for 40-50 minutes) at a temperature of 180 C. Let's get started.

First, let's prepare a dry mixture of sifted flour, cocoa (sift that too), sugar (use 200 grams of the total amount) and baking powder. Mix vigorously.

We will prepare a liquid mixture from sour cream (no matter what fat content your dairy product is), butter and drinking water. Mix with a spoon.

To prepare the chocolate dough, we will combine both mixtures and, again with a spoon, carefully mix all the ingredients until smooth. The structure of the dough should be similar to not very thick sour cream.

Let's make cottage cheese balls. Cottage cheese, and we specifically chose dry cottage cheese in briquettes for this - no curd paste will work here, combine it with the rest of the sugar (100 g) and add starch to it.

Knead the curd mass with your hands and begin to form approximately identical balls. We got eight of them. Place on parchment paper in the form of a circle that lines the bottom of the bowl or in a baking dish (if you want to cook in the oven).

Pour dough on top.

On the control panel, select the “baking” mode. This cake will take approximately one hour to bake. Let's start the program execution.

Or preheat the oven to 180 C. Place the pie in the already hot oven!

After the finishing signal, open the lid of our kitchen assistant and leave the finished chocolate cake in this position to cool. When completely cooled, place it on a flat dish.

In the oven, the chocolate-curd dessert will be baked for 45-60 minutes; as usual, we check the readiness with a wooden stick or toothpick.

Using a sharp knife, cut into neat pieces and invite all those with a sweet tooth to the table.

The result is such a beautiful and elegant chocolate cake.
