Making meat pie from pita bread

First, let's start with the filling for our pie, one of its components is onion. We will peel the onion, rinse it lightly and finely chop it either into cubes or something else, the main thing is that it is fine. Now our chopped onion needs to be fried, for this we take a frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil into it and put it on the stove to heat up. When the oil is hot, add the onion to the frying pan and lightly fry until translucent.

Next, add minced meat to the frying pan with the fried onions. It is necessary to fry the minced meat for fifteen to twenty minutes, making sure that it is fried evenly on all sides. When frying, do not forget to stir the minced meat from time to time so that it does not burn.

When you notice that the minced meat is almost ready, you need to salt and pepper it, and if you wish, you can add any of your favorite spices. Now, after the minced meat has been salted and peppered, you need to add tomato paste and stir thoroughly so that it is completely distributed throughout the meat.

Another component of our pie filling will be cheese, we need to grate it, whether it will be large or small, you decide.

Next, the most interesting part begins; we will fill our meat pie with pita bread. Since we have two pita breads, we need to divide our filling in half. Spread the pita bread, spread fried minced meat with onions on top of it in a thin, even layer, sprinkle grated cheese on top of the minced meat, and squeeze a little mayonnaise or sour cream on top of it all. Now carefully roll up the pita bread tightly; the same must be done with the second pita bread.

Next, let's prepare the filling, beat the eggs into a small deep bowl, add sour cream, a little salt and beat it all until smooth.

Place our lavash rolls in a greased form, fill them with sauce and place them in a preheated oven to a temperature of 200º, for about twenty to thirty minutes. The pie is ready when the filling has completely set, after which you can remove it from the oven.

That's all, now you know how to prepare meat pie from pita bread, I'm sure you will really like it just like I do. When the pie has cooled slightly, you can cut it into small pieces and enjoy the deliciousness. All the best to you and be happy!!!
