Compound:
  • or Iceberg - one bunch;
  • shrimp - use the ones you like best, any type and size;
  • quail eggs (you can also use regular ones);
  • Cherry tomatoes;
  • cheese (parmesan is best).

For croutons:

  • bread (black or white);
  • olive oil;
  • garlic.

For the sauce:

  • mayonnaise;
  • olive oil;
  • fresh lemon juice.
  • garlic (you can use either fresh, for a brighter and piquant taste, or baked, for a milder taste and aroma);
  • ground black and red pepper (to taste).

Prawns are prepared in several stages. The first involves the direct preparation of all the ingredients. The second stage is mixing, dressing the salad with sauce before serving the dish. So, let's start preparing it.

For croutons we use yesterday's bread - it does not crumble when cut and is optimal for making croutons. Cut it into small cubes, 0.5-1 cm in size, after cutting off the rough crust. Chop a few cloves of garlic and fry them in olive oil. When the garlic acquires a golden hue, carefully lay it out and fry the crackers in this oil. You can give the oil a pleasant garlic aroma by first infusing it with garlic. To do this, we also finely chop the garlic, pour it with olive oil and let it brew for several hours. Strain before use. Stirring gently, fry the bread over high heat. When the crackers acquire a golden hue, place them on a plate with a paper towel - it will absorb excess oil. Leave to cool.


It is impossible to prepare a Caesar salad with shrimp without greens, so let's start. They need to be thoroughly washed from dust and dirt, and then dried thoroughly. It is very important to use dry leaves, without moisture, and pre-chilled. First, wash each leaf separately, dry it with paper towels, then put them in the refrigerator for a while.

Sauce. Without it, it’s also difficult to imagine an appetizing Caesar salad with shrimp. To prepare it, it is best to use a blender - it will provide a homogeneous, airy and well-whipped consistency. Place all ingredients into a blender container: mayonnaise, olive oil and lemon juice. Beat and add grated Parmesan at the end. When the sauce is whipped, put it in the refrigerator with the lettuce leaves.

Shrimps. We separate the meat from the shell and fry it directly while assembling the salad, since as it cools, the shrimp meat becomes denser and tastes like rubber. At this stage of cooking, it is very important not to overcook the shrimp, but remove them from the heat as soon as the meat has become opaque and acquired a slight reddish tint.


While the fried shrimp are cooling, we begin to “assemble” our dish. In order to properly prepare the Caesar salad with shrimp, take chilled lettuce leaves, tear them into small pieces with your hands (if you cut them with a knife, they will be bitter), add half the croutons, some Parmesan cheese and a little sauce. Mix everything carefully. Next, place the salad on a plate, put the remaining croutons on top, cut the cherry tomatoes into halves, placing them on the salad, then place the shrimp on top and generously sprinkle with grated Parmesan.

  • lemon juice - 1 teaspoon;
  • liquid honey - ½ tbsp. spoons;
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 g;
  • lettuce (romaine or other) - a small bunch;
  • cherry tomatoes - 5-6 pcs.;
  • quail eggs - 5-6 pcs.;
  • - taste.

For croutons (croutons):

  • loaf or white bread - 3 slices;
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves;
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons.

Caesar salad with shrimp classic recipe

  1. We defrost the shrimp in advance, wash it, and then peel it, leaving the tails if desired. Place the prepared seafood into a deep bowl, sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper, and pour in lemon juice. Add liquid honey and one tablespoon of olive oil. Mix the shrimp thoroughly and leave in the marinade for half an hour.
  2. To prepare the croutons, in a separate bowl, mix two tablespoons of olive oil with garlic cloves, peeled and passed through a press. Let the garlic-oil mixture sit for 40-60 minutes. If you wish, you can speed up the process by placing the mixture in the microwave for 20-40 seconds. When heated, the garlic will quickly release its aroma into the oil and you won’t have to wait a long time.
  3. Pour the oil saturated with garlic smell onto the surface of a clean frying pan (the garlic itself must first be caught, otherwise it will burn). After removing the crusts, cut the bread into small cubes and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Sprinkle the finished hot croutons with salt.
  4. We wash the salad leaves, dry them, tear them with our hands and distribute them on plates. To enhance the taste, you can first rub the dishes with a clove of garlic cut into 2 halves. Lightly drizzle the leaves with Caesar salad dressing, the recipe for which is described in detail.
  5. Place the marinated shrimp on the hot surface of the frying pan (if the pan has a non-stick coating, we do without oil). Fry for literally 2-3 minutes on each side (until the gray tint completely changes to pinkish).
  6. Place cooled croutons and warm shrimp on a layer of lettuce leaves.
  7. We complement the salad with boiled quail eggs, cut in half lengthwise and bright cherry slices.
  8. Pour the dressing over the dish and sprinkle with fine parmesan shavings.

You will need:

  • lemon;
  • olive oil;
  • anchovy fillet;
  • pitted olives;
  • mustard;
  • soft tofu cheese.

Preparation:

  1. Shape four cloves of garlic into thin plates and fry in a frying pan, adding a little oil.
  2. 2 medium anchovy fillets, 4 olives, 2 tbsp. puree mustard and roasted garlic in a blender.
  3. Enter 450 gr. cheese and 90 ml olive oil. Send juice from half a citrus fruit there.
  4. Salt and pepper should be added to taste, as should herbs, such as rosemary sprigs, green or purple basil, cumin and herbes de Provence.
  5. Shake again with a blender and use as directed.

You will need:

  • mayonnaise;
  • aromatic garlic;
  • red wine vinegar;
  • Dijon mustard;
  • juice ;
  • hot pepper sauce;
  • Worcestershire sauce;
  • water.

Preparation:

  1. Squeeze the garlic and squeeze 3 tbsp into the mayonnaise. l. Pour wine-based vinegar in a volume of 2 tbsp. l., add 1 tbsp. l. citrus juice, 0.5 ml each of hot and Worcestershire sauces, 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 tablespoons of water.
  2. Add 1 tbsp to the mixture. Dijon mustard.

If you can’t find Dijon mustard, you can use simple mustard, and for those who don’t like too spicy dishes, you shouldn’t add pepper-based sauce. You can simply pepper the finished dressing.

Yogurt Caesar dressing

  • Preparation:

    1. Boil two eggs, remove the shell and chop in the usual way.

    4. Place the ingredients in a blender bowl, pour in 1 tbsp olive oil, add 1 tsp. mustard and 2 tbsp. l. citrus juice.
