6. Preheat the oven to 200°C, bake the pieces for 40-45 minutes, until they are easily pierced with a fork.

7. While the potatoes are in the oven, grate the remaining cheese on a fine grater. In a separate bowl, mix squeezed garlic, sour cream (mayonnaise) and chopped herbs.

8. Remove the finished potatoes from the oven, pour the sauce over them and sprinkle with cheese. Place back in the oven for 3-4 minutes until the cheese has melted.

9. Serve the finished dish hot.

There is nothing healthier than new potatoes when they are in season. Aromatic herbs and spices allow you to endlessly diversify the taste of a universal and simple side dish made from your favorite vegetable. Baking in foil with the peel preserves its juiciness, fragile vitamin composition and provides the unique charm of a crispy crust.

For cooking, select small tubers of approximately the same size, no larger than a nut. Crumbs of hard cheese will give the vegetables a soft, creamy hue.

The potatoes are served hot, freed from foil. This dish makes serving both holiday and everyday tables as easy as possible.

  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 2-3 stalks of green onions
  • 2-3 stalks green garlic
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • 0.5 tsp. ground paprika
  • dill greens

Preparation

1. Wash each potato thoroughly in water and rub with a hard sponge. For baking, it is best to use small root vegetables - they cook much faster.

2. Make a small niche out of foil, place it in a frying pan or baking dish, and pour vegetable oil into it. Place the washed potatoes, salt them and sprinkle with ground paprika. Mix lightly.

3. Connect the edges of the foil and press tightly. Place the mold in the oven, preheated to 200-220C and bake for 30 minutes.

4. While the potatoes are baking, chop the washed stalks of green onions, garlic and dill.
