  • 300 grams of boiled shrimp;
  • 4 boiled eggs;
  • 100 grams of low-fat mayonnaise;
  • 200 grams of feta cheese.

Shred the cabbage into thin strips, grate the boiled eggs, and chop the shrimp coarsely. Mix all the ingredients in one container, then put them in glasses. Grind the cheese with mayonnaise and add the dressing to the salad. We decorate each glass with one tiger shrimp on top.

From this recipe you can see that we put the dressing on top of the salad, and do not mix it with the ingredients. “But then how to eat this dish?” - you will be surprised. The fact is that according to the rules of etiquette, cocktail salad is served in glasses, but they eat it... on plates! Just be sure to bring plates along with glasses or bowls, where the salad is laid out, and only then you can calmly mix it and eat it.

Cocktail salad with shrimp and avocado

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of peeled shrimp;
  • 2 fresh cucumbers;
  • 1 apple;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 1 avocado;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 50 grams of red caviar;
  • mayonnaise;
  • salt and pepper.

Finely chop the boiled eggs. Cut avocados, cucumbers and apples into strips. To prevent the apples from darkening, it is recommended to moisten them with lemon juice. Mix avocado with chopped garlic and mayonnaise. We do the same with cucumbers, eggs and apples. Now put it in a bowl in layers:

  • a mixture of apple, cucumber and eggs;
  • garlic with avocado;
  • shrimps.

Decorate with red caviar on top. It turns out very elegant!

They are made from the same ingredients as regular salads. The only difference is in the form of serving: cocktail salads are placed in layers in special glass glasses (cremankas) and poured with dressing, decorated and decorated on top. It looks quite impressive, especially from the side.

Cocktail salads are served on a plate, always covered with a napkin. In this case, the plate is not just a tray. We put the napkin aside, transfer the salad cocktail to this very plate, stir with a fork (with your left hand) and eat (with a fork and knife) - this will be correct.

Cocktail salads are a dish for buffets, festive and romantic meals, so we will be especially careful with fragrant ingredients - especially onions and garlic.

Cocktail salad with shrimp, corn, avocado, bell pepper and pineapple

Ingredients:

  • medium-small or small shrimp;
  • canned corn;
  • avocado fruit;
  • sweet red pepper;
  • pineapple (canned);
  • lime;
  • hot red pepper;
  • garlic;
  • classic unsweetened yogurt or sour cream;
  • fresh herbs for decoration.

Preparation

Shrimp are usually sold cooked; in any case, they must be finished cooking or boiled and the meat separated from the chitinous coating. Let's put the prepared peeled shrimp aside - they will be the last layer. Open the can of corn and pour out the dressing. Cut the pineapple into pieces (or we will remove them from the jar during cooking using a slotted spoon). Cut the sweet red pepper into very small strips (no more than 1.5 cm long). Carefully remove the avocado pulp and cut into small cubes, like cracklings, and pour in lime juice in a separate bowl.

We arrange the salad glasses and begin to lay out the layers, you can invent their order yourself, it is best that they contrast in color. For example, in this order:

  • pineapple pieces;
  • Bell pepper;
  • corn;
  • avocado pieces;
  • sweet pepper again.

Now refueling. Lightly season yogurt or sour cream with crushed garlic and hot red pepper. Without sparing, cover the top layer of the cocktail salad with dressing and beautifully and carefully place a few shrimp on top. Decorate with green leaves. This salad can be served with light wines or tequila, mezcal, grappa, rakia, brandy, or bourbon.

Cocktail salad “Sea” with shrimp and cucumbers

Ingredients:

  • medium shrimp;
  • squid flesh and/or marinated (lightly salted) salmon, pink salmon or trout;
  • cucumbers;
  • green onions and other fresh herbs;
  • lemon;
  • classic unsweetened yogurt or thick cream, sour cream;
  • grated nutmeg;
  • a little fortified light Muscat wine (or vermouth).

Preparation

Prepare the shrimp (see previous recipe above). First scald the squid with boiling water, remove the skin and cartilage, and then boil for 3 minutes. Cool and chop finely so that it is convenient to eat. Cut fish and cucumbers into small pieces. Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and marinate in a separate bowl for at least 10 minutes. Chop the green onions.
