Hello, dear food lovers. This time we have dessert. The dessert, I must say, is a little unusual, but nevertheless very tasty. Prepares in 20 minutes and does not require special culinary skills.

So what we need:

Let's get started:

1. Peel the pear, cut it in half lengthwise and carefully cut out the core.

2. Heat about 2 tbsp in a frying pan. tablespoons vegetable oil, odorless, of course (I used peanut oil, I like it better). Don't overdo it, too much oil can be harmful.

3. Place the pear halves in a frying pan and fry on both sides over medium heat (if the pear is hard, then it is better to lower the heat and fry longer, or cover it).

4. When the pear is fried, sprinkle it on both sides with sugar, first from the outside, then turning it over.

5. Place cheese in the recesses, cover with a lid and leave on the turned off stove for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts. The amount of cheese and sugar is up to your taste. I ended up with a lot of cheese, it wasn’t even completely melted.

6. Before closing the pan with a lid (when the cheese has already been added), you can pour a couple of teaspoons of sugar onto it to caramelize it - this will be something to decorate the finished product with.

7. As a result, we get something like this:

Very tasty with wine, the ladies will be delighted.

I wish you bon appetit.

What could be tastier than pear in wine? Perhaps just a caramelized pear. Thanks to Ferran Adria, from whose book the recipe is taken, I can say this with a great deal of confidence.

You could also say that this dessert recipe is perfect for the season because it uses conference pears. They don't have a great flavor on their own - just sweet and watery. But in caramel, these winter pears reveal a completely new and, I would even venture to say, unexpected side.

Ingredients:

  • 2 conference pears;
  • 3 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 2 tbsp. butter;
  • 200 gr. hot water;
  • mint for decoration.

Peel and core the pears. Cut in half lengthwise.

Place sugar in a cold frying pan and heat over low heat (without stirring) until the sugar is completely melted and turns into caramel. Add the butter and stir well until the butter is completely melted.

Carefully place the pears, cut side down, and pour in the hot water. Be careful not to get burned; the water may boil violently.

Cook the pears in the syrup for 5 minutes on each side (the heat can be increased) to thicken the sauce. When the pears are soft, remove them from the heat and cool to room temperature.

Serve pears with a scoop of ice cream and a sprig of mint.

My husband, however, said that there was absolutely no need for ice cream here, it only distracted from the taste of the pear, which, I quote, was “incomparable.”

Roasted pear with honey or sugar, served with ice cream pieces, is an instant homemade dessert. 10 minutes of simple manipulations, and then you can enjoy the fruit treat with your friends or family! The recipe for a sweet dish is very simple and helps out if guests suddenly come to the house or you just want something sweet, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. So, what is the procedure for preparing fruit dishes?

Ice cream and fruit can be topped with melted chocolate, condensed milk or honey. Also, the taste of pear is successfully emphasized by mint leaves.

Fried pear in caramel

To caramelize fruits, it is not necessary to use honey - sugar is quite suitable for this purpose. In this regard, the French chef Ferran Adria offers his own dessert recipe.

Wash 2 large pears. Cut the fruit lengthwise into 2 parts, remove the peel and seeds:

  1. Place the frying pan over low heat and melt 3 tbsp. l. sugar until caramelized.
  2. Place 2 tbsp in the pan. l. butter. Wait until the butter melts and stir the caramel again.
  3. Place the pears in the caramel, flat side down. Pour 200 gr into the pan. hot water.
  4. Fried pears in a frying pan should cook for 5-7 minutes. You need to roll the fruit in sweet syrup on all sides. When the fruits become soft, the pears should be removed from the syrup and cooled to room temperature.
  5. Serve the fruit with a piece of ice cream and a sprig of mint.

To prevent pears in caramel from seeming cloying, you should choose varieties with a neutral or moderately sweet taste for dessert. “Conference” is ideal. In its absence, you can buy any other variety with a greenish hard peel.
