Life is ahead of the dream

The first sales of the boiled beverage began in the early March of March 2014 - the Moscow Network "Datville" bought the entire first batch. "I was looking for samples of high-quality beer. At that time, we just gathered to trade alcoholic beverages, so I wanted to find such a brewery that could meet our requirements and was ready to produce beer under our brand, "recalls Anton Nesphorov, a manager-technologist of the category" Drinks "network" Dvorville ".

During 2014, Malz & Hopfen had about ten permanent customers - these are shops, bars, restaurants. Askarov did not advertise his brand anywhere and sometimes he was wondering where buyers came from. "We did not participate in some tastings, promotions. The main problem was the underestimation of demand. This allowed to buy more eight fermentation tanks. "I can not say that a prepayment of several deliveries is a frequent practice, but we believed in Rustam. At that time, he suffered from the technical equipment of the brewery, which affected the quality of the drink. We offered him an option with payment, as they saw the potential in it and wanted to help improve the quality, "recalls non-immigors.

In total, the development of Askarov's production was spent 2 million rubles. Rental for 150 thousand RUB. For a month, a new room is a former workshop where the fish was accumulated, 420 square meters. m, made a small repair in it. The commissioning was again made by their own hands, which, according to Rustam's calculations, made it possible to save 300-400 thousand rubles.

By the spring of 2015, production volumes increased twice, from 10-12 tons to 20-25 tons per month, and the revenue reached up to 2 million rubles. per month. The staff grew only to one employee. "There is no need for a huge number of people for cooking beer," explains Rustam. "Two or three people are busy on the rosy, and the cooking can do one."

At the same time, the total number of regular customers from Malz & Hopfen did not increase for 2015, they simply began to buy more. Approximately ten institutions of Nizhny Novgorod buy products from month to month, among them - the cafe "Penalties", the bars of the project "Food and Culture" ("Used", "Herring and Coffee", "Buffet"). Sometimes the beer is sent to Tomsk, Novosibirsk, but with other regions Malz & Hopfen does not cooperate on an ongoing basis: the volume is still lacking. "In Russian cities we sent some unusual beer, because the main customers, including the" thieves ", cannot quickly make a new position on sale. When a new variety beer appeared, we offered it through social networks or a site, "says Rustam. In 2015, brewing revenue amounted to about 24 million rubles, the profit exceeded 2 million rubles.

At the end of last year, Ascarov realized that it was necessary to build a new brewery again, much greater on scale. For the purchase of new equipment, he spent 25 million rubles. Why is this demand for Malz & Hopfen beer? Ascarov believes that its unique beer makes a special technology: it matches it in bottles, thanks to which it can be stored for years and only improve their taste. "It's like good wine," says Rustam. - There are varieties that I recommend to store 5-10 years before use, for example, the Russian Imperial Stage. Ascarov sells his beer only in bottles, because it believes that it is possible to convey to the consumer to the taste and aroma. However, Vadim Trobiz believes that the taste of the case is secondary. Retail and restaurants want to attract consumers-experimenters, and proposals from crafts are not so many.

Total Malz & Hopfen has 17 beer varieties, but four are stable four: Bavarian Wheat, English El, Porter, American El.
