  • 4 tbsp. spoons of filling or pate of your choice,
  • 3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream (salted water is also possible),
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of salted and whipped butter, seasoning to taste.

For garnishing - pickles, hard-boiled eggs, pickled mushrooms, olives.

  1. Cut a loaf or brick of bread lengthwise into two equal halves. Cut one half into thin slices, spread each of them with a thin layer of butter, and remove the crumb from the other half.
  2. Moisten part of the crumb with sour cream (or salted water), mix with the chosen filling or pate, add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out half of the bread with the resulting mixture or pate and place in the refrigerator to harden, then cut with a warm knife into as many slices as there are buttered slices.
  4. Connect the slices one to the other so that the slice with the filling is on top.

Before serving, decorate the sandwiches with slices of sour cucumbers, mushrooms, olives and slices of hard-boiled eggs.

3. Stuffed loaf with canned fish

  • 1 can of canned fish in oil (or in its own juice);
  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 1 loaf of wheat bread; greenery.
  1. Trim the tops of the loaf and pull out all the crumb to make a tube.
  2. Mix canned fish, softened butter, finely chopped boiled eggs, finely chopped herbs.
  3. Add the bread crumb from the loaf here. Mix everything thoroughly and fill the loaf tightly with the resulting mass.

Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Better yet, longer. You can do it overnight so you can be in time for breakfast in the morning.

4. Loaf nests stuffed with fish

Due to the fact that the loaf is soaked in milk, they are not dry. From the specified amount of ingredients you get about 20 nests.

500 g fish fillet (pike perch, tilapia, pink salmon, pollock, navaga, etc.); 400 g loaf; 200 g onion; 500 ml milk; 150 g cheese; mayonnaise; greens to taste; salt; pepper; vegetable oil

  1. Finely chop the onion. Finely chop the fish. Finely chop the greens. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  2. Mix fish, onion, herbs, salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the loaf into pieces 2 cm thick. Soak the loaf pieces with milk and squeeze a little.
  4. Grease the mold with oil and place the pieces. Make a depression in each piece and simply press the crumb with your hands.
  5. Place fish and onions in the recesses. Grease with mayonnaise.
  6. Place in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Then sprinkle with cheese (half of the pieces are cheese, half are not), put in the oven for another 5-7 minutes.

  1. Cut off the top crust from the loaf, remove the crumb, leaving only 1-1.5 cm at the crust.
  2. Finely chop half of the crumb and pour in heavy cream, and the rest of the crumb can be put in the freezer, you will have your own breadcrumbs in the future.
  3. Finely chop the chicken fillet, add salt and pepper, you can add seasoning for chicken, sprinkle with a little vegetable oil.
  4. In a frying pan, fry chicken fillet, bacon, and, if desired, finely chopped onion and mushrooms.
  5. Cool everything and mix with the crumb and cream.
  6. Fill the loaf with the mixture, place tomato slices on top (optional), lightly grease with mayonnaise.
  7. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Then remove from the oven, sprinkle with cheese and put back in the oven for 3-5 minutes.

6. Baked loaf with cheese and garlic

And this recipe is even simpler.

You need: a French loaf, preferably “yesterday’s”, or a regular loaf; 100 grams of cheese; 100 grams of softened butter; 2-3 cloves of garlic parsley and dill to taste

  1. Grate the cheese, squeeze out the garlic, add soft butter and finely chopped herbs, mix everything.
  2. Heat the oven to 200 gr. C. Make deep cuts slightly obliquely in the loaf, without cutting through about 1 cm to the end (like an accordion)
  3. Fill the slits with cheese filling. Along with the cheese filling, you can insert a slice of ham, sausage, etc. into the slits.
  4. Wrap the loaf in foil and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Then open the foil slightly and leave for another 5 minutes so that the bread is slightly browned. Or you can brown the baked loaf under the grill.
  6. Let the loaf cool for 10 minutes, covering with a folded towel.

Serve hot: - either by cutting the loaf into slices along the already cut lines, - or by cutting the bread with a sharp knife between the cuts filled with filling, then the filling will remain inside the cut pieces of bread, and you will get hot sandwiches.

7. Pizza in a loaf

Necessary:

  1. Cut the bread into pieces 5-7 cm thick.
  2. Scoop out the pulp, leaving the bottom and sides.

  1. Cut the baguette crosswise into 3-4 parts. Cut each part lengthwise into 2 halves. Carefully remove the crumb from the baguette halves, leaving the sides 1 cm thick.
  2. Prepare the filling. Cut ham, sausage, cucumber, tomato into cubes.
  3. Mix everything. Add the egg (you may not need all the egg - the mixture should not become liquid.
  4. Add a little mayonnaise until the mixture becomes viscous. Fill the baguette with this filling, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Delicious both hot and cold.
