New Year's salad with porcini mushrooms. Salads with mushrooms for the New Year's table

Dumplings are loved in every home. Homemade dumplings made with your own hands are considered especially significant for those who love a delicious lunch. But how tiring it is to spend hours making little lumps of dough and minced meat that attract you to the table.

The solution is recipes for lazy dumplings - a dish that is not inferior to the original either in taste or appearance.

Oven recipes

The secret of this recipe lies in the cooking method, because lazy dumplings do not require individual modeling. And one of the quick and enjoyable ways to prepare lazy dumplings is to bake them in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 3-4 tbsp;
  • egg – 1 pc;
  • minced meat – 0.5 kg;
  • – 1-2 pcs;
  • carrots – 1 piece;
  • tomato paste, frying oil, salt, pepper and spices;
  • water – 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

  1. In a deep bowl, mix 1 glass of water, a pinch of salt and 1 egg until smooth.
  2. Add flour into the mixture in small portions, continuing to stir. The dough will begin to thicken, continue kneading until we get an elastic and soft dough.
  3. Place the finished dough aside for 30-40 minutes to allow it to rest - this will give it more elasticity necessary to obtain a thin layer.
  4. You can prepare vegetable gravy. In a frying pan greased with vegetable oil, fry the onion, peeled and cut into small cubes, until golden brown.
  5. Peel the carrots and chop them on a fine grater. Add the fried onion to the frying pan and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Add 2-3 tbsp to the pan. tomato paste, 1 glass of water, salt and favorite spices. The vegetable mixture will serve as a gentle “cushion” for lazy dumplings and add juiciness to them.
  7. We begin to “sculpt” dumplings. The dough needs to be rolled out to a thin layer, no more than 3 mm thick and a shape approaching rectangular. For convenience, divide a large piece of dough into 2 smaller pieces and roll them out alternately.
  8. Spread the minced meat on the rolled out dough in an even layer. It can be peppered and salted.
  9. Roll the resulting “blank” of dough and minced meat into a roll and cut into rings 3-4 cm wide. These will be dumplings.
  10. Pour the prepared vegetable gravy onto a deep baking sheet and place the chopped roll rings here. You get small rosettes from dough and minced meat in vegetable gravy.
  11. Cover the baking sheet tightly with foil and place in the oven preheated to 180°C for 45 minutes. Remove the foil from the baking sheet and put it in the oven to simmer for another 20-25 minutes. Ready-made lazy dumplings look elegant and can be served at the holiday table.

In the described version, products that are available to every housewife are used. The dish can be supplemented with cheese crumbles sprinkled on the “dumpling roses”, chopped zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes in a vegetable “pillow” or replace the vegetable sauce with sour cream sauce.

Frying pan recipes

For housewives who don’t like to deal with the oven and value speed of cooking, there are recipes for lazy dumplings in a frying pan. Such dumplings are no less appetizing, and they are attractive in appearance, so they are even suitable for a holiday table.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 3-4 tbsp;
  • egg – 1 pc;
  • minced meat – 0.5 kg;
  • onions – 1-2 pcs;
  • carrots – 1 piece;
  • sour cream – 1 tbsp;
  • tomato paste – 1 tbsp;
  • frying oil, salt, pepper and spices;
  • greenery;
  • water – 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

  1. It is better to start cooking with the dough so that it has time to “rest”, this will improve the stickiness and elasticity, and it will be more convenient to work with it. For the dough, we need to mix flour, 1 glass of water, an egg and a pinch of salt in a deep bowl. It’s better to beat the egg a little, you can immediately add salt and water, and only then add flour to the mixture. You need to knead thoroughly to prevent the formation of flour lumps, and the consistency of the dough should be elastic, but not hard.
  2. While the dough is cooling, prepare a frying pan in which we will stew the lazy dumplings. The pan must be used with high edges and a tight-fitting lid. Grease the bottom of the frying pan with oil for frying.
  3. Peel and chop the onions and carrots: the onions into small cubes, for quickness the carrots can be grated on a fine grater.
  4. Place the onion in a heated frying pan and fry until golden brown. Add carrots to the onion and simmer together for a few minutes. Let the vegetables fry for a few minutes without heat to form the dumplings.
  5. To make dumplings using the lazy method, you need to roll out the dough in a large layer, no more than 3 mm thick and rectangular in shape. For ease of rolling, you can divide the dough into 2-3 equal parts and roll out the layers one by one.
  6. Place the minced meat on the dough and distribute it evenly over the entire surface. You can use any minced meat. If necessary, you can pepper the minced meat directly laid out on the dough, and you can also add your favorite spices to the meat, herbs or a little onion.
  7. We roll the entire workpiece into a roll and cut it into pieces 3-4 cm wide. On one side, the resulting pieces are slightly molded into the edges of the dough, as if “sealing” them, and the edges with the cut and visible minced meat remain open and look like a rose.
  8. Place the lazy rose dumplings on the sealed side in a frying pan on top of the vegetables and fry them together a little. This will secure them and prevent the meat juice from leaking out of the dumplings.
  9. After frying, add the stewing mixture to the same pan - spoons of tomato paste and sour cream with spices mixed in a glass of water. Drenched dumplings should not be submerged in gravy. Let the top part be a little higher - this way they will not lose their shape and taste.
  10. Simmer everything together on medium in a frying pan under a closed lid for 30-40 minutes.
  11. Open the lid, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and let simmer for another 10-15 minutes, allowing the excess water from the pan to evaporate.

Cooking steps

    First, let's prepare the minced meat. Rinse the meat, beef and pork in water, cut into large pieces. Wash and peel the onion and cut it into large cubes. Let's pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder. Add salt, pepper and any other spices to taste to the bowl. You can also add crushed garlic cloves for a spicy kick.

    To create the dough, we need to sift the flour onto a clean and dry countertop. Make a depression in the center of a small hill, break an egg into it, and add salt. Mix the ingredients in portions, adding water to the flour. The dough should be quite stiff and not stick too much to your fingers. We form a ball, wrap it in cling film and let it sit for a while. This will take at least half an hour. Roll out the finished dough on a dry surface (thickness no more than 2 millimeters). Spread all the minced meat evenly over the dough. Roll the dough into a voluminous meatloaf as shown in the photo. Make sure that the edge of the dough is pressed well against the roll and does not come unglued.

    Cut the finished roll into relatively equal large pieces. This is precisely the principle of laziness of these dumplings. We didn't have to wrap dozens of small dumplings.

    Let's prepare the sauce with which we will cook dumplings. To do this, mix sour cream and suneli hops in a deep bowl.

    You can cook dumplings in the usual way, steamed, or in the microwave. We offer you a frying pan option. To do this, first grate the carrots on a coarse grater and squeeze a few peeled cloves of garlic into it. Mix the ingredients and fry a little, add sour cream sauce diluted with water and place pieces of rolls on top, on top of which you can put a small piece of butter.

    We simmer our dumpling rolls under the lid over low heat. When almost all the water has evaporated, serve and serve the dish to the table. Lazy dumplings in a frying pan are ready.

    Bon appetit!

Hello! Ekaterina is in touch with you. 😈 It’s no secret that very often there are situations in life when you need to cook something quickly and want it to be simple and tasty. I include lazy dumplings among such meat dishes.

Who doesn’t call them khanums, Georgians, shtrumbs, barak-chuchvara and even meat roses. Are these names familiar to you and are you preparing anything from this list?

If these words are unfamiliar to you, don’t worry, you will soon understand and learn everything. All these names simply sound differently in different countries, but the meaning of the preparation is the same almost everywhere.

Homemade lazy dumplings can be prepared very tasty even for a child.

The basis for the filling is traditionally made from minced beef and pork, or minced chicken; if you want to diversify the dish, add it and make it with potatoes, cottage cheese, cabbage or vegetables.

The filling can also be different, for example, based on tomato sauce, in sour cream, with sauce and on a vegetable bed.

Now I will show you the simplest, fastest and most delicious version of these meat roses simultaneously in a frying pan, in a slow cooker and in the oven. There is another option to steam them, next time I’ll try to cook them that way too.

I made these lazy dumplings in one go, I just wanted to compare which ones would taste better if I used different electrical appliances.

How to make, how to cook lazy dumplings, can they be frozen, I will answer all and other questions along the way.

One of the most basic steps in making this dish is the dough. Use classic dumpling dough for any of your favorite variations. I usually always make it with the addition of butter or vegetable oil, since then it turns out to be very elastic and elastic, and most importantly not sticky.

We will need:

For the test:

For filling:

  • minced meat - 500 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • salt and pepper to taste

Fill:

  • onions - 1-2 pcs.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • carrots - 1-2 pcs.
  • tomato paste or ketchup - 3-4 tbsp
  • vegetable oil
  • sour cream - 4-5 tbsp
  • You can use any greenery for decoration.

Cooking method:

1. Take a deep bowl in which you will knead the dough. To do this, pour water into it and break one egg. Add 1 tsp salt, stir. Pour in refined vegetable oil.

Important! It is better to take a chicken egg, as it is larger.

2. Then add premium flour gradually, mix, take your time, add a little each time. Even though I used all purpose flour, it turned out great!

Important! First, I sift the flour through a sieve so that it is saturated with oxygen.

3. Start kneading with a tablespoon and stir until you feel that it is no longer possible to knead with a spoon.

4. Therefore, transfer it to the table. And there continue to add flour and knead the dough on the table.

5. This is such a cool, elastic miracle! After kneading, what should you do? Correctly move it away to rest.

Important! To make the dough successful, you need to move it to the side and cover it with a bowl or cling film for about 30 minutes.

6. As long as you have the dough on vacation 😛 make the filling. To do this, mix the pork and beef together, add grated onion, salt and pepper.

Important! Pour a little water or milk into the minced meat to make the meat juicier.

Lazy dumplings in a multicooker Polaris or Redmond

7. Chop the vegetables the way you like best. I usually grate carrots and cut onions into half rings. Place them in a multicooker bowl, either Redmond or Polaris will do, although absolutely any model and brand, turn on the “Frying” mode with the lid open and sauté the carrots and onions using vegetable oil.

8. Carrots and onions need to be well fried in oil until they become soft and acquire a golden hue. Peel the garlic and chop finely with a knife. The aroma in the kitchen is so magical, it’s already making my mouth water.

9. At the end of frying the vegetables, add finely chopped garlic and tomato paste, stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the multicooker from the frying mode.

10. Meanwhile, roll out three large cakes from the dough.

11. Place some of the prepared filling on each flatbread. My smart little helpers are already here. They also help their beloved mother :)

12. What a beauty it turned out!

13. Now wrap it in a roll.

Important! Pinch the edges along the entire length of the resulting sausage very well so that they do not come apart!

14. Cut the sausage and roll into pieces, approximately each piece is 2-3 cm. You get such beautiful roses. You can, in principle, not cut into pieces, but roll up a roll in the shape of a snail, but this is no longer lazy

15. Now place them on the bottom on a vegetable bed. It was possible to add sweet bell pepper to the vegetables, but unfortunately I didn’t have it.

By the way, do you like cooking in the multi-helper? Then perhaps you will like this note:

16. Now you need to fill the meat beauties with water, approximately so that it almost covers them entirely, leaving the top a little unflooded. They will be baked with this vegetable sauce. Select the “Baking” mode and after 15 minutes have passed, turn it off.

17. Open the lid and sprinkle them with grated cheese.

18. Then close the lid again and let them stand in the miracle helper for another 30-40 minutes.

19. Place the second part of the lazy ones in a frying pan greased with butter. Sprinkle them with grated carrots on top. Fill with regular drinking water and fry for about 10-15 minutes after boiling over low heat.

20. What a beauty! And also delicious!!! Simply delicious! Yum!

21. Place the finished roses on a plate, sprinkle them with herbs.

Meat rosettes in the oven with sour cream

22. Place the third part of the dumplings on a baking tray. Place the sour cream in a glass and then add water to it, stir until it dissolves. Next, pour this liquid over our delicacies. They should be half in liquid or even a little more. Add salt and pepper to add a hint of aromatic seasoning. Place one small piece of butter on each dumpling for juiciness. Place in the oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

This sauce and filling could also be used for a frying pan; fried or stewed in sour cream also taste divine!

23. Baked in the oven with sour cream sauce, they won’t win you over with their simplicity and very aromatic taste. The most delicious and healthy lazy ones, which can be given even to children for dinner or breakfast, are ready. Garnish with dill on top.

Oh, I forgot to say that such lazy dumplings can be easily frozen, just like regular ones, and then imagine how quickly and deliciously you can whip up a wonderful dinner or breakfast, or, for example, when guests are on the doorstep! As you can see, there is nothing complicated in preparing this dish. Have fun everyone!

How to make lazy dumplings even tastier

1. The dish will be more tasty if you roll out the dough very thin.

2. If you want to add a touch of tenderness, add milk and butter to the dough instead of water.

3. Be sure to let the dough rest for 30-40 minutes in cling film or under a cup before making meat roses.

4. To make the lazy ones more juicy, add a little milk and grated onions to the minced meat.
