Pass the garlic through a press and place in the frying pan. Place tomato paste there and pour in tomato juice. Then add black pepper and salt. Mix well and simmer with the lid open until the moisture evaporates for 10-15 minutes. Let the filling cool. Prepare the cheese - grate it coarsely.

Prepare the sauce in a separate bowl. To do this, bring the milk to a boil, add the bay leaf and nutmeg. Turn off the gas and let it brew for 10 minutes. Melt butter in a frying pan. Gradually add flour to it, stir and fry for 5 minutes over low heat. Pour in the milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly, not allowing lumps to form and the sauce to boil. Cook until thickened. Then let it boil, add a little salt and turn off the heat.

Divide the sauce into approximately 5 equal parts, the cheese into 4, and the chicken filling into 3 parts. Liver salad “Tenderness”

Potatoes – 3-4 pcs.;
Meat liver – 300 g;
Eggs – 3 pcs.;
Cheese – 150 g;
Carrots – 1 large;
Mayonnaise.

Finely chop the boiled vegetables, liver and eggs and place them on a plate in layers. The top layer must be cheese. It is best to serve the dish decorated in a New Year's theme.

Seafood salad "Bim"

Canned peas – 1 jar;
Squid – 400 g;
Crab sticks – 1 package;
Potatoes – 8 pcs. (cook in jacket);
Eggs – 6 pcs.;
Pickled cucumbers – 400 g;
Imitated sturgeon caviar – 3 packs;
Mayonnaise.

Boil the squid until cooked, cut them and mix with green peas. Add boiled potatoes to the resulting mixture. They also include chopped eggs (as on Olivier salad) and cucumbers (preferably in small strips). Mix all this with mayonnaise, form a dog shape on a plate and garnish with caviar.

How to set the New Year's table 2018

The Yellow Earth Dog loves its color, so choosing the main color of the interior and the New Year's table should be from shades of yellow. The most winning option is gold. Of course, one should not think that all devices must be made of precious metal. Gold goes well with white, so use both colors together. But it is not recommended to mix gold with silver (gray) - this will immediately ruin the effect of solemnity.
A snow-white tablecloth with an unobtrusive gold ornament can serve as a symbol of your taste and restraint.

You can use almost any dishes: from bright yellow shades to muted and noble brown. An option for white plates with gold edging would be appropriate. Vegetarian New Year's dishes

If you or one of your guests, for some reason, does not currently eat meat, then it would not hurt to come up with one or two dishes to satisfy such tastes.

Vegetarian vegetable lasagna

Puff pastry – 1 package (you can use thin pita bread);
Carrots – 1 pc.;
Bell pepper – 2 large pieces;
Olives (you can use olives) – half a jar;
Water – 150 ml;
Tomato paste – 2 tbsp. l.;
Bechamel sauce - 200 ml;
Salt – 1 tsp;
Sugar – 2 tsp;
Spices: coriander, pepper, turmeric, herbes de Provence.

To prepare this New Year's dish, fry the spices in oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped carrots and chopped peppers. After a few minutes, add tomato paste to the mixture and simmer until all ingredients can be easily pierced with a fork. When the stewing is complete, sprinkle the mixture with ground pepper, add Provençal herbs and leave to infuse under the lid. At this time, prepare the dough/lavash. Rub the baking dish generously with oil and spread the sauce over the surface, place a sheet of dough on top and place about a third of the stewed vegetables on it. Top with sauce again and sprinkle with cheese. Repeat this with each layer until you run out of filling. Decorate the last layer with olives and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
