Ingredients:

  • cucumbers – 4 kg
  • onions – 1 kg
  • red bell pepper – 600 g

  • garlic – 5 cloves
  • bay leaves – 5 pcs.

For the marinade:

  • sugar – 1 glass
  • vegetable oil – half a glass
  • vinegar 9% - half a glass
  • ground sweet pepper – 1 teaspoon

Preparation:

Peel the cucumbers, rinse and cut into slices.

Peel the onions, rinse and cut into half rings.

Peel bell peppers. Wash and cut into strips.

Place everything together into a large bowl. Add salt, sugar, vinegar, oil, crushed garlic. Stir and leave for 1 hour.

After the specified time, our salad will release a lot of juice.

Place the salad in clean, dry jars. Place one bay leaf into each jar, carefully so as not to break it.

Cover the jars with lids and sterilize half-liter jars for 15 minutes, liter jars for 20-25 minutes. Roll up the jars, turn the lid down, and wrap them in a fur coat until they cool completely.

Cooking method

Next, we also prepare the zucchini, cut the onion into half rings, thin slices of pepper, slice the tomatoes, chop the chili and add everything to the carrots. Add salt (completely rely on your taste, the salad should seem slightly salty), sugar, sauce and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When all the vegetables are soft and ready, add the cucumbers cut into slices, bring to a boil again, cook for 5-7 minutes, turn off the gas and immediately pour in the vinegar. Mix the salad and place it hot in prepared sterilized jars. We seal them with lids for the winter, turn them upside down, wrap them well and leave them until they cool completely for about a day. We clean the sweet pepper from the seed box and cut out the white veins. Cut the pepper into thin strips. Peel the onion, rinse under cool water, dry, cut into half rings.







Now we need a saucepan or a thick-bottomed pan, load all the prepared assorted vegetables into it, add a little chopped parsley and hot pepper to your taste. We also immediately pour in water and oil, vinegar, add sugar and sea salt, and throw in the laurel.
