Cut the skinless chicken breast meat into bite-sized cubes (or a little smaller).

Pour in dark soy sauce, preferably not very salty and not very concentrated. Stir until all the chicken pieces are coated with the sauce. It’s not like swimming in it, but we add enough sauce to marinate the chicken. Leave for an hour (when there is no time, marinate for 30-35 minutes).

Finely chopping ginger, garlic and pepper will take a lot of time, so use what you have on hand for chopping: a fine-hole grater, a garlic press, a mortar. Or use a sharp knife to chop everything into small pieces. First cut off the white partitions of the pepper (they run along the inside of the pod) and shake out the seeds.

We free the fresh pineapple from its hard peel, and drain the juice from the canned one (reserve it for gravy). We cut the pineapples into medium-sized cubes, smaller than chicken.

In reality, cooking turned out to be incredibly easy; after the first time, I can do everything extremely quickly and by eye.

To prepare you will need:
2 chicken fillets
1 bell pepper (I like the red one better, but this time the store only had yellow ones)
Canned pineapples (half a can)

Potato or corn starch
Soy sauce
Ketchup
Yolk
Apple vinegar
Sugar
Salt

First, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, such that you can put the whole thing in your mouth.

Let's marinate. To do this, add yolk to the fillet, 1 tbsp. starch and soy sauce (pour the sauce by eye, there should be very little of it, the chicken should not swim in it). Salt. It is necessary to add salt, even if the soy sauce is salty, otherwise the dish will turn out very sweet. But don't overdo it. A pinch is enough for me.

Mix everything well and leave for at least 30 minutes.

Then we prepare the vegetables: cut the pepper into squares. If the pineapples are not cut, then neither are they. The pepper and pineapple pieces should be approximately the same size.

To do this, prepare all the ingredients in advance! Place vinegar and ketchup next to the stove, open the lids, prepare sugar, prepare starch water in a cup or glass. To do this, dilute the starch in water in a 1:1 ratio (we will need about 1 tablespoon of starch).
