An examination of chocolates was carried out in Krasnoyarsk to determine which ones were the most impeccable in quality and taste. The competition included products from 12 manufacturers not only from Russia, but also from other countries. The result turned out to be curious: the most expensive and prestigious brands of sweets turned out to be far from the best, and imported goods are much inferior in quality to Russian ones.

On February 26, the Federal Budgetary Institution “Krasnoyarsk Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory” announced the results of the rating assessment of chocolate candies with “Assorted” filling.

12 samples of candy names from manufacturers from Russia (Ulyanovsk, Novgorod, Belgorod regions, Moscow and Moscow region, Krasnoyarsk), Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk), Latvia and Poland took part in the “competition”.

According to the press secretary of the Krasnoyarsk Center for Migration, Zhanna Sobolevskaya, first all products underwent laboratory tests - no serious violations of state standards and technical conditions were identified. And then the chocolates were distributed by rank by members of the expert commission - representatives of two regional ministries - the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, certification bodies, the Trade Institute of the Siberian Federal University, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of chocolates with Assorted filling.

The examination of the sweets was carried out in cooperation with the government authorities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but the wishes of users of the new Internet resource of the Krasnoyarsk Center for Medical Supervision - “Prodnadzor” - were also taken into account. There, according to the results of the popular vote, the test of sweets was also in the lead.

As the head of the department of standardization and scientific and technical developments of the Krasnoyarsk Center of Medical Sciences said Nadezhda Voronkina, according to the results of the rating assessment, the best candy brands were: “Kraskon” (Krasnoyarsk) - 16.7 points, “Babaevskie” (Moscow) - 16.6 points and “Red October” (Moscow) - 16 ,0 points.

« Today, samples of products from fairly well-known companies in Russia won. The sweets from the local Krascon factory in Krasnoyarsk also performed well. I hope that the results of our assessment will be a kind of beacon for consumers in the city market, which is especially important on the eve of the favorite women’s holiday on March 8, when many representatives of the fair sex receive sets of chocolates as a gift.”, - said Nadezhda Voronkina.

At the same time, experts noted that the taste of sweets has changed somewhat in recent years. This is caused by the use of various preservatives, emulsifiers, flavors, dyes and thickeners in the production of sweets. In Soviet times, the main food additive was citric acid. The composition of sweets has also changed - now manufacturers can develop their own recipes.

Let us remind you that the ratings of the Krasnoyarsk Center for Medicinal Medicine are independent - the Center, as a state organization, does not have the right to advertise any product. The sweets were examined for the fourth time - previous examinations took place in 2006, 2007 and 2012.

In the middle of the 19th century, the first confectionery factory for the production of sweets appeared in St. Petersburg, which became the first not only for the Northern capital, but for all of Russia as a whole. At first, only lollipops were produced there, then they started caramel, and over time it came to chocolate. The owner of the factory was the famous Fedor from the village of Landrin, and on the tin cans of the products it was written “Landrin” on top; the brand quickly gained popularity. Until this point, various confectionery products, including sweets, were imported from abroad and were available only to noble and wealthy people. And already at the beginning of the 20th century, confectionery production began to gain momentum, people learned about sweets, marshmallows, marshmallows, toffees and various kinds of sweets.

Subsequently, the sweets became the pride of all of Russia. And today, in the 21st century, the market is overflowing with all kinds of sweets, and the largest and at the same time the oldest confectionery enterprises, such as Red October, RotFront and Babaevsky, are part of the United Confectioners holding, jointly delighting people all over the world with delicious Russian sweets .

No less famous and even more so delicious Russian candies are “Alenka”. They have been produced since 1966 by the Red October company.

According to surveys, 9 out of 10 consumers surveyed call these candies the favorite flavor of their childhood. Today, candies under the Alenka brand are not only candies in the first version known to consumers; they are also produced with creme brulee, waffles, boiled condensed milk, nuts, and cookies. But one ingredient remains the same for everyone, this is the most delicate milk chocolate.

The candy wrapper with the image of a little girl with a scarf on her head also remains unchanged. When it was first decided to put the candies on sale, the question arose about what would show off on the wrapper. At the same time, a competition was announced in the newspaper “Evening Moscow” and the victory was won by a photograph of a little eight-month-old girl, who to this day looks at buyers from the shelves in shops.

These candies are probably the oldest, after all, they were produced during the reign of the Tsar. Peasant children loved them during the times of Tsarist Russia, and eaglets and pioneers in the USSR loved them, and they still adore them today.

The candy is filled with a layer of nut praline, which is covered with chocolate glaze on top. The candy wrapper is probably known to everyone in Russia, and sometimes even abroad. It depicts the plot, albeit in a modified form, of the painting “Morning in a Pine Forest” by the famous Russian artist Shishkin and Savitsky, and although the second’s signature, for some reason, is the arrow from the painting in the Tretyakov Gallery, it was he who painted those very club-toed bears. The industrial artist Manuil Andreev distorted the appearance of the painting, but despite the fact that the paintings are not identical, many still consider them to be the same.

By the way, until the second half of the 90s, sweets were not patented and many companies produced them, even in America. But after Red October, which originally gave these candies to the world, although in those years it had a different name, it nevertheless patented them.

One of the most famous and delicious candies in Russia is a candy called “Mask”. The RotFront company has been producing them for about sixty years, and they are well known to more than one generation.

The candies are rectangular in shape and consist of milk chocolate, praline filling, milk powder and cocoa powder. The design of the candy wrapper fully reflects the name; on it you can see images of carnival masks.

Almost throughout its existence, candy was produced only in bulk form, but recently the company decided to go ahead and today you can find Mask in bags and even in gift boxes. This fact greatly pleased buyers, because now they can be bought not only for tea, but also as a gift.

Another everyone’s favorite delicacy from the Red October toffee company called “Kis Kis”. Toffee is made from sugar, butter and honey, which makes one candy very high in calories, but this also has a positive side, in order to remove the thirst for sweets you don’t need a lot of them.

Iris is loved by many, because it is very tasty and contains many vitamins and nutrients. On the candy wrappers there are pictures of cats, black or white, it depends on what you get. The advantage of Kiss Kiss toffee is that it is viscous, and therefore young children love it very much.

Babaevskaya “Squirrel” candy, without which not a single sweet gift for the New Year can do. As soon as people see from a distance a green wrapper with an image of a red squirrel holding a nut in its paws, they immediately understand what kind of delicacy it is. The candy contains small pieces of hazelnuts and cashews; all this goes perfectly with the soft taste of praline.

The composition also includes a small amount of cognac, but there is no way to get drunk from it.

The candies are produced in two versions, in the first version the candies are dome-shaped, and in the second they are elongated with a rounded base. There is no difference in composition and taste, but, as they say, for some people the shape is important. There are also gift packages in which the Squirrel has an unusual round shape.

Inspiration candies are a very famous product. The chocolate recipe from which they are made was developed back in 1976. Even in those years, they immediately managed to win millions of sympathy all over the world thanks to their special taste and highest quality.

The candy contains exquisite chocolate, nut praline, and hazelnut pieces. All products of this brand, like candies, are produced in blue wrapping or packaging with the image of a dancing white silhouette of a woman and a dancing black silhouette of a man.

Candies can be bought by weight or in beautiful gift packaging, which Babaevsky never ceases to amaze with year after year, introducing something new into the packaging.
