Green beans with meat and potatoes in a slow cooker - very tasty and hearty dish, which will appeal to all family members. One day, having prepared it impromptu, I realized that I would cook it more than once, and now I’m sharing it wonderful recipe and with you! If you love spicy dishes, then you can add more pepper in the process, and if you wish, you can completely refrain from spices. In any case, the dish turns out rich and very aromatic. I will describe the cooking process in a slow cooker, but in the absence of one, any dish with a thick bottom, like a cauldron, will do. Write down the recipe soon!

Ingredients:

  • green beans – 400 grams.
  • pork (pulp) – 500 grams.
  • onions – 1 pc.
  • carrots – 1 pc.
  • potatoes – 8-10 pcs.
  • Bay leaf- 2 pcs.
  • salt - to taste.
  • spices - to taste.
  • vegetable oil – in fact.
  • Number of servings: 8.

We cut the pork flesh into small pieces; the presence of a little fat is welcome; its presence will only make our dish tastier. We put it in the multicooker bowl, at the bottom of which you need to pour a little oil.

Fry the meat with a small amount salt on the “frying” mode until light golden brown crust. Then add the diced onion.

Fry the meat with onions until golden brown.

Add carrots. You can grate it on a coarse grater; this time I chose to cut it into cubes.
Fry everything together for about five more minutes.

Then pour boiling water, enough to cover the meat. Add salt and spices to taste. And cook the meat for another 15-20 minutes.

Then we add green beans, I had a frozen one.

Lastly, add the potatoes. I prefer to cut the potatoes quite large. If the potatoes are medium-sized, then cut them into approximately four parts.

Now add boiling water and bay leaf again. Pour in enough water to cover the potatoes. You can add a little more or a little less, it all depends on the desired thickness of the dish.

Close the lid and cook in the “baking” or “stewing” mode until the potatoes are ready.

We put green beans with meat and potatoes on plates and invite everyone to the table. The aroma will be magical! When serving, sprinkle the dish with fresh chopped herbs. The meat turns out to be the most tender, the potatoes are aromatic and soft, and the green () beans add their own zest!

  • water – 300 ml;

Recipe for potatoes stewed with green beans

1. Wash (defrost) green beans and trim off the tails. Divide each pod into even pieces 3-4 cm long.

2. Place the chopped beans in a saucepan and pour cold water(should completely cover the pods) and boil until tender (about 10 minutes).

3. Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut them into 5-6 cm cubes.

4. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the potatoes until golden brown.

5. Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the onion and garlic into small pieces.

6. Fry the onions and carrots until the onions are transparent, then add the garlic and fry over medium heat for another 30-40 seconds.

7. Place potatoes, green beans, onions, carrots and garlic in a cauldron or thick-bottomed pan for stewing.

8. Add boiled water and tomatoes, cut into large pieces (just tomato paste). To cover with a lid.

9. Simmer until the potatoes are ready. Then add salt, pepper and other spices. Mix.

10. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let sit for 3-5 minutes before serving.

11. Divide the potatoes and green beans into separate portions, sprinkle with chopped herbs if desired and serve the dish hot.

My husband really loves potatoes in any form and for him better than a side dish you can't imagine. So today I decided to add some vitamins to his diet and added green beans. At first he was against it, but after trying my little “masterpiece” he ate it with pleasure and said that it was very tasty) The recipe is very simple and goes perfectly with fish, meat or sauce fresh vegetables, so I present to your attention potatoes with green beans:

Preparing potatoes with green beans for a side dish:

1. Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut them into cubes. We start frying on vegetable oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.


2. Put the water on the fire and add salt. When the water boils, throw green beans into it and cook for ten minutes. Although the cooking time depends on whether you have frozen beans or young fresh ones. I have a frozen one. Then drain the beans in a colander and rinse with cold water, or you can immerse them in ice water for a minute. This way the green beans will be cooked the most the right way and, moreover, will retain its bright color.


3. Bring the potatoes almost to readiness when a golden brown crust appears.
