To do this, remove the minced meat from the freezer in advance so that it thaws thoroughly. Minced meat for cutlets can be made from any meat, it all depends on personal preference. In this recipe, the cutlets are made from pork, so they are slightly fatty and very filling. Rice cereal is poured into the slow cooker after frying the cutlets, so the side dish is aromatic and tender. If you need to prepare this dish for children, then use minced chicken or turkey, or take a mixed version.

Ingredients for cooking rice with cutlets

  1. Minced pork – 0.5 kg.
  2. Bran bread – 2 slices.
  3. Milk – 50 ml.
  4. Garlic – 2 teeth.
  5. Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  6. Water - 2 cups.
  7. Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
  8. Onions – 1 pc.
  9. Seasoning “Khmeli-suneli” - 0.5 tsp.
  10. Long grain rice – 1 cup.
  11. Bay leaf – 1 pc.
  12. Salt - to taste.
  13. Dill - to taste.

How to cook rice with cutlets in a slow cooker

Pour the minced meat into a tall bowl, add salt to taste and stir until smooth.

Break the pulp of bran bread without hard crusts into pieces, place in a bowl and pour in milk for 5 minutes. Bran bread can be replaced with a white loaf or baguette.


Peel the onions and garlic, finely chop the onion with a knife, and grate the garlic on a fine grater. Pour onion and garlic into the main mixture and stir.


Add the softened bread pulp and mix with a spoon.


Add a raw chicken egg to the general mixture and mix well.


Add the required amount of spices, for example, suneli hops; this seasoning includes both aromatic and slightly spicy components. At this stage of cooking, be sure to mix the minced meat with your hands so that it becomes more homogeneous.


Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker. Form medium-sized cutlets and distribute along the bottom of the dish. Fry on one side for 5 minutes in the “Fry” mode.


Turn the cutlets over using a wooden spatula and fry for another 5 minutes.


Pour the rice from the glass into a plate and rinse well with water.


Remove the cutlets from the multicooker, add rice cereal and hot water, add salt to taste and add bay leaf.


Distribute the fried cutlets on the surface.

To prepare cutlets from rice and minced meat, we will need the following ingredients: rice, minced meat, carrots, onions, egg, salt, ground red pepper, dried basil, vegetable oil.

I already had minced pork ready. I just defrosted it. If you don't have minced meat, you can make it yourself or buy it at the store.
Now peel the onions. Let's cut it into small pieces. Peel the carrots and grate them on a large grater. It is advisable to take juicy and sweet carrots, then the cutlets will turn out tastier.
Pour some vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat it up. Add our vegetables and fry until they smell like onions. Season the vegetables with salt. Remove the pan from the heat and let them cool. When you transfer the vegetables to the minced meat, do not add the vegetable oil that is left from the vegetables, otherwise the minced meat for the cutlets will turn out to be sharp in taste and excessively fatty.
I took round rice, rinse it under running water. Pour water into the pan, wait until it boils, add rice and salt. Cook the rice until cooked, don’t forget to stir. Remove the rice from the heat, place it in a colander and drain off the excess liquid. We rinse it under cold water and put it back into the pan. We wait until it cools down. It is advisable that the rice is not overcooked, then it will be easier to make cutlets from it.
Place rice, minced meat, vegetables, egg, salt and spices in a deep bowl. Mix all the ingredients.
Now add 1-2 tablespoons of flour and mix again. If your minced meat is too runny, add more flour.
We wet our hands with water and form small cutlets. Then, dip each cutlet in flour on both sides. You can do ours at this stage by sending the semi-finished product to bake, but if you are still in the mood for fried cutlets, follow the next step.
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it well. Place our cutlets and fry them over medium heat until crispy. Then, use a wooden spatula to turn them over to the other side. Fry the cutlets on the other side for another 5 minutes until done.
