How to make homemade Snickers and Bounty candies, which are many times tastier and healthier than store-bought ones. Snickers candies

The advantage of this recipe is the speed of preparation. Yes, you heard correctly, they can be prepared quickly and without having to stand at the stove for hours. Prepared without baking. Try making Snickers at home, as opposed to store-bought, and you won't go back to store-bought bars.

This is interesting: the first candies were invented in Egypt. When Pharaoh appeared, sweets were thrown into the crowds of people. These were dates cooked in honey. In neighboring countries, dates were replaced with figs, nuts, and apricots with spices cooked in honey. The next step in the era of candy was the appearance of sugar. In India, they began to produce fruits in sugar. (Which reader does not remember modern cranberries in sugar?) At various celebrations, guests were thrown candy. Good luck awaited the one who caught it. In Italy, they kept this tradition, but replaced the candies with colored confetti pieces of paper.

Snickers bar: nougat, peanuts, milk chocolate - these ingredients have remained unchanged since 1930. The candy bar produced by the American company Mars is in demand to this day, despite how many calories there are in Snickers.

The bar manufacturer's factory began to be built in 1929 in Chicago. Currently it produces 560 chocolates per minute. It is believed that the bar was named after the name of the family's favorite horse, Mars, because she died a couple of months before mass production began. It is unknown what the fate of the name would have been if not for this tragic incident.

In Russia, chocolate began to be sold in 1992, positioning it as a replacement for a full meal. There were analogues in the country - chocolate marshmallows, chocolate with filling. But they were not able to gain such popularity as Snickers.

Snickers is not just chocolate, it can rightfully be considered a symbol of pop culture. Sales of this bar alone amount to $2 billion. Advertising plays an important role in this. Everyone knows the slogans You are not you when you are hungry, Don’t slow down - have a snicker! . The main task of advertisers is to convince people of the nutritional value and benefits of the bar. They succeeded! Statistics show that every fifth teenager eats Snickers every day.

Composition and calorie content

The calorie content is really quite high. 100 g of Snickers chocolate contains 507 kcal. If you buy a smaller bar, the calorie content will be 280 kcal.

Protein in chocolate – 9.3 g; carbohydrates – 54.6 g; fat – 27.9 g.

Chocolate contains cocoa butter, cocoa powder, 0% fat solids, powdered and whole milk, vanillin, lactose and milk fat. The filling contains nuts (seeds, peanuts), glucose syrup, palm oil, sugar and dry protein.

Benefits and harms

The bar can really lift your spirits, energize you and tone you up. Its taste cannot leave any person indifferent. The benefits of peanuts in Snickers are limitless - they will help restore order in your head after prolonged brain activity.

The harm is expressed in large amounts of sugar. It is contraindicated in obesity, diabetes, allergies and diathesis. You also need to carefully monitor how much chocolate your child and teenager consumes.

Varieties of chocolate

The classic Snickers with peanuts has been produced for many years. It also has many varieties, some of which are limited edition.

There is “Snickers Super” - an enlarged version containing 2 bars. Since 2016, large varieties have appeared, containing as many as 3 chocolates. There are also varieties of white Snickers.
