Spanish restaurant on Pipe.

Since I have accumulated photographs here and I still managed to have dinner there the other day, I’ll write about the Spanish restaurant Tapa De Comida

I like to read different personal impressions about visiting all sorts of places to know whether it is interesting or tasty there. So sometimes I share this information myself.
They say this place is already old, but I don’t go out often, and Moscow is such a rich city in restaurants, you probably won’t be able to see everything in 5 years)) And I came here for the first time.
The interior is, of course, wonderful!

Everything is so cute, thoughtful, and at the same time it seems as if it’s all at least 100 years old. And somehow you feel at home.

Little things that are pleasing to the eye. Especially the railings!

I am horrified by bullfighting, but here the posters successfully decorate the interior.

Painted shutters, candlesticks - cute, in general. By the way, for some reason I thought this was a great place for winter gatherings.

It seems to me that it is in winter that you can feel the warm, southern comfort of this place.
Especially in the separate Library room - it’s a pity there isn’t a single shot from there ((There are bookshelves along one wall - just how I love it. A large table under a beautiful yellow lamp, a fireplace!!! Which is actually heated - how magical it is in in the center of the city to sit near the fireplace - I’m already harboring plans to gather there with someone and sit)
And there is also one big secret - a secret room behind the bookshelves!)
I took the photo from the restaurant’s website:

http://www.tapasbar.ru/

The joy of color - colorful tablecloths and chairs.

About the minuses - we were sitting right here, as you can see in the photo above - at the outermost table on the top right, at the very end of the red sofa.
The tables for two are just tiny! Given that the dishes are brought on huge plates, there is absolutely nowhere to put them. We had to shovel 2 dishes onto one plate and put the pitcher of lemonade on the windowsill!
We were not seated on Thursday at 19.00 at the tables in the middle of the hall for 4, as they were booked. We left at 22.30 and the hall was empty, with the exception of a couple of people at tables near the window, all the central tables were free - I don’t really understand what kind of attitude this is towards customers.

Here, in a large free space, musicians played

It's about 10 pm - the tables are empty, by the way, as you can see.
I would like to talk about the musicians separately. I love live concerts, but... it was so loud! We sat farthest from the musicians, I thought I would really go deaf. The room is not very large, the sound travels very actively.
If I came to the Jazz Cafe, for example, precisely to have dinner and at the same time listen to a performance, then here I came to chat, like all those who were sitting next to us. Absolutely nothing was heard. I even went somewhat crazy from this music. Loud, provocative, fun, but I didn’t hear even part of my few thoughts))

There is an olive tree in the toilet - I’m thinking about renovating it someday, I really want some kind of painting on the wall. Or, by the way, on the balcony - there are already yellow walls!

The restaurant has only 3 floors and a veranda. The veranda seemed to me, surprisingly, not very cozy and somehow... not beautiful :(

Sorry, it’s a bit collective farm :)

But I found some cute little details there too. By the way, the birds are really singing.

Well, about food.
We ordered a large jug of raspberry lemonade. The waiter was very offended when I tried to ask him what exactly the “homemade lemonade” was made from. Some kind of scourge with these lemonades. I have already written more than once about the fact that they are called “homemade” everywhere, but are made from soda and hellish chemical syrup and an inhuman amount of mint is shoved into everything.
He assured that the lemonade was made from jam, almost personally made by his grandmother. Ok, the lemonade was quite okay. Thanks grandma.
The alcoholic menu has several crazy enticing liqueurs - currant, cherry, dried apricots. I took some with herbs - and it was incredibly aromatic and tasty! She kept drinking this glass throughout dinner. But it was hot and it didn’t fit well)) In winter, again, that’s just it.

Goat cheese salad with spinach in honey dressing with nuts - delicious!
The lamb pies are bland and a bit dry, but the sauce for them is tasty and light and it saves the day.
Smoked pork sausages were a bit fatty and salty for me.
I don’t like grilled eggplants and didn’t even try them.
Veal Andalusian style - magical! I swallowed my tongue!! Tender pieces of veal in mushroom sauce and rustic potato slices.
There was also soup: Traditional hot soup with noodles, tomatoes and meatballs. - very tasty too!
+ one esperesso coffee
Total bill - 3360 rub.

Stunned by the food and liquor, she nevertheless filmed the restaurant building itself on her phone at night. I think it's very nice.

Tapa de Comida Literally translated, it means “piece of food.” Most of all, this corresponds to the concept of “snack”. Spanish “tapas” are something like “one-bite” canapés with all sorts of fillings, which are usually eaten in bars accompanied by alcoholic drinks.

Restaurant Tapa de Comida occupies a separate three-story building. In this establishment, an attempt was made to get acquainted in detail with the traditions of Spanish cuisine and the Spanish way of life. On the ground floor, guests will find a noisy and cramped (just like in Spain!) bar with non-stop sports broadcasts, where only alcohol and tapas are served. As in any tapas bar, the interior is extremely simple: wall paintings, small tables. The bar menu includes about 30 snacks, which are served with a hot baguette and weighed by 50 grams on a scale. Tapas can only be ordered at the bar; they are not served in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no Spanish beer on the bar menu, but there are still 6 types of draft beer from Europe. Besides, in Tapa de Comida The famous Spanish “Sangria” is prepared according to different recipes: Catalan (with Cava sparkling wine), Asturian (with apple cider) and in the traditional version: red or white.

The second and third floors are given over to the restaurant. A romantic dinner with candles, tablecloths and music can be arranged on the second floor. There is also a summer veranda here. For a friendly, informal feast at a large table, the third floor is more suitable: there is a grill right in the hall, and simple chairs and exposed brick walls set the mood for a relaxed mood. There is also a small VIP room, stylized as a library. Around 10 pm, the restaurant begins with a performance of musicians performing national Spanish or Latin American music on guitars accompanied by vocals.

Spanish cuisine in Tapa de Comida presents the best dishes from each province of the country. It is worth trying the typical dish from the Basque Country "Gambas Pil-Pil" (tiger shrimps with olive oil, garlic and pil-pil pepper, eaten with your hands), thick meat stew from Asturias "Fabada Asturiana" with white beans and smoked meats, paella from the province Valencia "Paella Valenciana" (with pieces of chicken, rabbit meat, seafood, beans, rice and saffron), meat according to a recipe from Andalusia "Ternera A La Andalusa" (baked veal fillet with a sauce of Valdeon cheese, cream and porcini mushrooms ) or the signature dish “Rabo De Toro” (oxtails stewed in sherry with vegetables, mushrooms and herbs).

IN Tapa de Comida there is an impressive collection of wines from Spain, France, Italy, Chile and South Africa, many of which are available by the glass.

Every Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00 at Tapa de Comida They organize children's parties with fun competitions, games and a special children's menu.

The Spanish restaurant Tapa De Comida is a real find for sports fans and romantic couples. Tapa De Comida occupies an entire three-story house, stylized as a simple tavern. The ground floor is a noisy and cramped bar with non-stop sports broadcasts, where only alcohol and light tapas are served. As in any tapas bar, the interior is simple and slightly shabby, the tables are tiny and you can see the TV from either end of the room. For most of the evening, tavern guests move from one tapas bar to another, replacing dinner with snacks. The bar menu includes about 20 snacks, which are served with a hot baguette and weighed by 50 grams directly on the scales in the hall. True, they don’t offer Spanish beer, but the selection of draft beer is also good: Grolsch, Spaten, Franziskaner, Warsteiner and Krusovice Dark.

The second and third floors are given over to the restaurant. Simple rustic chairs painted deep blue, exposed brickwork and massive candles on the window sills create a homey feel. Around 10 pm, musicians come into the restaurant: a girl sings Spanish romances in a low male voice, and three guitarists play along with her. The food amazes with its huge portions and peasant richness. You cannot order tapas in a restaurant - to do this you will have to go down to the bar, which, in general, is normal - in Spain tapas and hot dishes are also not served in the same place. But after restaurant snacks, thoughts about the first floor will quickly disappear. In a small cast iron pot they bring chicken livers with apples and oranges, fried in red port wine sauce, piping hot and sweet and sour in taste. Orange is also added to the arugula salad with salted cod, and Ibérico Rosebo jamon is served with fresh figs. The local chef makes surprisingly rich and aromatic soups (although usually in Spanish cuisine hot soups are by no means a strong position): for the sake of the viscous potato “first” in cream with mussels and shrimp, you want to come back here more than once, and the Catalan soup with meatballs and tomatoes and noodles can be an excellent hangover cure. As delicacies, the chef recommends oxtails stewed with vegetables and mushrooms in sherry and herbs and ox eggs in a cast iron with beans, olives, tomatoes, ginger and a sprig of juniper. The meat of bull eggs has a unique taste and melts tenderly in your mouth. The strong aroma of juniper initially repels with its harshness, but the further you go, the more multifaceted the taste of the dish becomes. The fish menu includes both simple peasant sardines, fried with garlic and baguette toast, and sea bass and sea bream, beloved by the Moscow public. After soups and appetizers, it’s impossible to finish paella, which is prepared for two people and, most likely, can easily feed three. Instead of dessert, you can skip a sweet digestif or drink green tea with rose petals.

Tapa De Comida (Tapa de Comida) - “A piece of food” that the Spaniards used to cover a glass of drink. The number of hypotheses about the origin of this tradition can only be compared with the number of recipes for these small snacks. One way or another, Tapas are a healthy accompaniment to a pleasant habit - traditional Spanish snacks that we prepare for you in the Tapas Bar. There we mix the best cocktails and pour wine, sherry, port, cider and cava (the cheerful Catalan sparkling wine). And you drink, have a snack, watch football, chat with friends... Or you went for an aperitif, and above, a romantic dinner awaits you - with candles, tablecloths and music (on the second floor) or a friendly, informal one at a large table on the third - there grill, warmth of fire, alien aromas and, as a result, complete geographical disorientation: “Am I really in Moscow? - Can't be!"

Description

Mediterranean cuisine never ceases to amaze with its diversity, simplicity and great taste. So the restaurant “Tapa De Comida”, presenting to our attention the cuisine of the Iberian Peninsula, or more precisely, Spain, does not lag behind... However, the definition of “does not lag behind” is erroneous - it would be more correct to say “is at the head” of all such establishments. And this victorious procession begins with a name - sonorous in Spanish (Tapa de Comida) and completely unexpected after being translated into the language of Pushkin and Lermontov: “A Piece of Food.” Essentially, it is a traditional Spanish appetizer that is served with a glass of drink. The famous tapas bars in Spain get their names from the name of this snack. There is such a restaurant-bar in “Tapa De Comida” Moscow - here it occupies the entire first floor of a three-story mansion located near the Tsvetnoy Boulevard metro station: on Trubnaya Street, 20. Externally, this mansion is stylized as an ordinary tavern, common in Spain. . On the ground floor, as already mentioned, there is a tapas bar, the entire interior of which screams that you have inadvertently found yourself in some kind of “romancero” by Federico Garcia Lorca - shabby walls, miniature tables and a lot of people. Noise and noise and a huge TV on which sports programs are broadcast. The Tara De Comida bar has a menu of no less than twenty types of snacks, served in 50 gram weights. A large selection of wines, cocktails and draft beer will satisfy everyone who wants to hang out and have a glass or two of aperitif before dinner. As for the second and third floors, they are occupied by a restaurant. The interior again continues the theme of a simple roadside tavern, setting the visitor in a downright pastoral mood. But the admirer of Lorca’s poetry will again encounter the ghost of the great work of the greatest poet of Spain - in the evening, as soon as the clock strikes twenty-two hours (one would like to say “twenty-two heartbeats”), musicians appear on the stage - an amazingly beautiful deep contralto girl sings Spanish romanceros , and three guitarists accompany her. In general, the musical spirit of the establishment is flamenco and romancero, and if you are a lover of Spanish rhythms, you have a direct path to the best restaurant of Spanish cuisine in the capital, “Tapa De Comida” Moscow. In addition, in such a romantic setting you will get a wonderful photo report “Tapa De Comida” and a video report “Tapa De Comida” from NightOut Moscow. By the way, about the cuisine... Each recipe on the restaurant's menu was brought from travels around Spain - dish after dish, recipe after recipe appeared in a shabby notebook after visiting those local establishments where the majority of residents of this town went. “Galician octopus with potatoes” from Coruña or “Paella with porcini mushrooms and smoked duck” literally melt in your mouth to the sounds of a passionate love song and sobbing guitar. The restaurant's chef, Ivan Shishkin, who is passionately in love with Spain, with unsurpassed skill, cooks in a real cast iron “Chicken liver with apples and oranges, fried in red port sauce,” which is as scorching to the taste as it is to the ear. Each dish is homemade, generous, rich and satisfying, and if you visit this restaurant, you will not leave hungry.
