Is it possible to prepare delicious, airy Lenten pastries? Yes, very simple! Using a slow cooker, you can use inexpensive ingredients to make a wonderful Lenten gingerbread with jam. I offer you the recipe for my family’s favorite gingerbread. The finished baked goods are aromatic and slightly moist. You can use jam to suit your taste, but I prefer jam with sourness, such as blackcurrant.

To prepare Lenten gingerbread with jam in a slow cooker, I prepare the ingredients according to the list.

I bring the water to a boil. I pour boiling water over the tea bags and let it brew for a while.

I take the tea bags out of the water and squeeze out the remaining tea from the bags. I add honey to the tea leaves and stir until it is completely dissolved.

I sift the flour together with soda.

Add vegetable oil and sugar to a bowl with flour.

Then I pour in the tea and honey mixture.

Using a mixer, beat the dough until there are no lumps of flour. The result is a tender dough, very similar in appearance to boiled condensed milk.

I grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and pour the dough into it.
